Ubiquiti Nanostation Loco M5

Forums:

Hi folks
I got one of this Nanostation Loco M5 XW for free, I know it's not one of the best devices one can have but it should be OK for me for doing field tests etc. - so I've downloaded and tfpt the Loco XW 3.23.8.0 firmware, the device starts but I don't get any LAN connection.

Searching the forum I found this forum post from 2018:

Compatibility Inquiry: Will My Ubiquiti LiteBeam LBE-5AC-23 Work with AREDN Network?

Forums:

Greetings AREDN Community!

I'm new here and very interested in joining the AREDN network. I wanted to find out if it's possible to put into service my old pair of Ubiquiti LiteBeam (LBE-5AC-23). They have sadly been taking up space in my closet since I moved years ago, aching to get a new lease on life!

Ubiquity Rockets

Forums:
I have 2 Rocket M5s and a Rocket M2. For some reason they occasionally "forget" their settings or firmware and become unusable, requiring me to re-flash the AREDN firmware.
  • One M5 (XW) is on a remote site and I can't keep making half day trips to fix it. The one on-site is currently borked again. I can remotely access a Linux SBC on-site, so maybe there's a chance to fix it that way.
  • The other M5 and M2 are now on my workbench.

Mesh or Mesh RF on a Mikrotik HAP ac Lite, difference and how to change ?

    Forums:

    Beginner questions...

I'm trying to set up a lab with 2 Mikrotik Hap ac Lite and 2 Powerbeam M5-300. All the devices are flashed with the AREDN firmware.

After some tests, I now have in "Basic Setup" one of the Hap which indicates "Mesh" and "Band: 5GHz" and the other: "Mesh RF 2GHz", without the possibility of changing.

I don't understand the difference between these 2 modes and how to switch from one mode to the other.

    Rocket M9

    Forums:

We have few 900 MHZ nodes in our network, and I decided to update the main sector antenna rocket with the latest daily build. I selected Rocket M XM from the software selector since it was not the other 2 selections.  It came up with the firmware updating window, and that's the last I have been able to get from it.  Now there is no response from the node. I tried all the items to get it working including loading the factory firmware via TFTP.  I can ping the node at 192.168.1.20, but the factory upload fails with no response.

    TP-Link CPE710 v1

    Forums:

Having a heck of a time flashing this thing. Confirmed on physical stamp and in the Pharos GUI that its v1.

When is use Tiny PXE server, it sends the file, reboots but goes back to Pharos?
I have tried two different PCs, one with physical LAN port and my laptop with two different USB > LAN adapters. With and without a switch in the mix.
