Thx tor the feedback on my loco M5 post.   My next purchase will be a bit more thoughtful.  I am looking at a hAP ac lite (to at least get on the network), specifically a RB952Ui-5ac2nD-TC.  It shows supported on the Supported Devices list.  Is this still a good device to purchase?  And, it seems the "-TC" option implies INTL, black unit, and with vertical mounting.  Is that really the difference vs the RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US version?

No Supernode in Texas?

I've been looking at AREDN for awhile and now that I'm in a spot to start deploying it I notice that there's no Supernode in Texas and want to see if there's a need to set one up here.   The space is a data center with BGP and multi homing.   I'd also like to connect to this at home but still need to acquire the hardware to do so, that's soon. 

Is there a need for a centralized node in the USA right now?

I am looking at replacing my main node with the hAP ac3 device, but now I understand it only does 5GHz i was given bad information telling me it was a dual band 2.4/5 GHZ device. What is the real story here??

CPE210 Any good?

Hello Folks!!,

I am looking into using the CPE210 from TPLink for one of my nodes, I read about alot of issues with those units...
Are they really worth it?
Are they MIMO devices?
Will they handle large networks without crashing like the older Ubiquity stuff does?

Change the radio for AP on hap.

Did a quick search but couldn't find anything. 

hAP AC3 used as an AP only (no direct mesh RF connection), I would like to change the radio used for AP access (LAN) to AC. 

Currently the LAN AP radio only seems to be using the N radio.

Hello Folks!

This was an exercise in futility. No matter what I do I cannot get the WAN port to talk to my home router. When looking at the WiFi Scan from another device, I see this ac3 with up to 6 channels, but the Host name is blank and I see Foreign Network.

I have decided to restore this to factory and send it back, I have not been able to find a document that explains how to do it... Anyone who has the document or can point me to it would be greatly appreciated if you could share that. I am very disappointed that I could not get this to work

I need some directions on flashing this unit.  I searched on Aredn and could only find general info on other GL-iNet hardware.  I downloaded the system firmware, but when I try to download the factory 1st flash firmware, it takes me to a blank page!  Not sure if that was done on purpose as it is not needed, but after trying to upgrade the node via the upgrade tab using the system upgrade file, in the web based interface, it does complete the upload, the display changes to "upgrading" but gets stuck there and never goes any further for over an hour.  At this point if you try to connect via 1

Hello Guys!

I have converted 2 of the  hAPac Lite units and they seem to work. I get 54Mb/s on my link between the two of them. I am running 20MHz chan width.
is this normal for these units?

Guys, 

Running the latest nightly build for this device. Tunnel works solid, no drop outs. MY servcies work, if I namually go to them, but they are not displayed in mesh status. Is there a switch I missed? they used to be visible.
