5 GHz 180 degree MIMO Sector Antennas?

We plan to deploy a Rocket M5 to a hill that could REALLY benefit from a 180 degree sector antenna.   A very brief scan of the Ubiquiti site didn't reveal any.
I found the HG5813DP-180 from L-COM but am unsure as to its suitability
Any other recommendations?

Yagi on a Ubiquiti NanoStation M900?

I'm trying to establish a connection of about 2 miles distant on 900MHz with my NanoStation M900..  I got one of these Yagi antennas, a 14dBi gain

Nanostation5 firmare image

I just purchased two Nanostation5 units. When trying to load the Aredn firmware 3.15.1.0 I continually get a message stating I have a bad firmware image. I have downloaded several times now with no luck and have tried both the XM and XW images with the same results. 

The box states the Nanostations are loaded with AirOS v.4 which is consistent with what I see when going to the system tab to begin the update so I am certain I should be using the XM version of the image and should not be having the problems referenced related to V5.6.

Mikrotik RBGroove-52HPn

This caught my eye in an email and since some of the Mikrotik and Ubiquiti H/W is much the same, I wonder if this Mikrotik RBGroove-52HPn has enough allocated memory to be useful for AREDN since it says it has 64MB onboard. Seems like it might....

Not a bad price. Anyone care to comment before any of us take the plunge?

Nano bridge M2 w/V3.17 will not save or upgrqade

After loading V3.17 and upgrading from AirOS I can not get the setup to save my call, password and miles. I do the apply and then save changes. It reboots and  shows the reboot status screen. I have to re-log in to see the node status screen but nothing has changed or updated.

Any ideas?

tftp error code

I have a handful of bricked Nanostations I'm try to recover.  Three of them (Nanostation Loco M2 and two Picostation M2s) that, during a binary tftp transfer report:  "Error code 2: firmware check failed".  This happens regardless of what firmware I'm trying to install.

Any ideas?

Newer Radios - Will AREDN Support?

Hello All,

I did a search, maybe the answer is apparent, but I will predict the ability to update firmware on a radio that is privately owned will fall on the owner(s).

Are there plans to support some of the newer radios, such as the NanoBeam AC?

3.16.1.1 upgrade not taking on AirRouter

Good evening!

I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on an AirRouter, from 3.16.1.0 o 3.16.1.1, but it keeps on failing.  This happens when using the firmware upgrade in the Administration page; I select the "AREDN-3.16.1.1-ubnt-airrouter-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin" file, and click UPLOAD. 

The browser then sits there, cranking away, until the page "loses" the connection.  When I navigate back to the node, the firmware version remains 3.16.1.0.

Rocket XW support

I want to use an M5 Rocket + Titanium 120° Sector with three 5GHz Nano Bridge devices for Lake Havasu City AZ.

I'm told I probably won't be able to get any of the old XM Rockets.  I see that lots of XW testing has been done, so I wonder when I can start my project? Is there a GOOD chance of the nightly build working?  I'm cheap and don't want to brick a device, but I'm willing to test.  

(I've read that in the crowded SoCal area 5GHz is often back haul. We don't have 22 million people here in the desert. I'd like to avoid 2.4GHz for our build here.)

AirRouter HP Bricked: Recovery options not working

I have an AirRouter HP which I've managed to brick from being too eager. I got an AdaFruit USB/TTL serial cable and have followed the recovery steps from http://bloodhound.aredn.org/products/AREDN/wiki/HowTo/Unbrick but it's not booting.
