Is it possible to provide a wan connection to the AirRouter HP without a VLAN switch? the AirRouter works great via the WAN port but on the HP where there is no WAN port do I have to use a switch to accomplish the task?

I am relatively new to Mesh. I have successfully flashed a Rocket M2 recently.

I ran the boot test and got a GOOD-GOOD message. I then attempted to flash the Nano with the AREDN software. After it was complete, the nano is unresponsive and not able to be accessed.

I have tried the recovery method and the nano does go into Recovery mode, but when I tried to upload the firmware, I get a 'server error'.

has anyone else had issues with m5 nanobridges? We have had 4 failures in our group all at different locations.  M2 gear works great, but we are using uses m5 nanobridges and they will work for a while and then die.  Can't login can't change firmware, can't access the unit.  We can get them into TFTP mode, but not sure on all of the commands to try to bring it back to life.  We are just wondering if there is an issue that is known on the M5 units, or are we just having a horrible run of luck?

So, I renamed two nanostations. One went fine after asking me to reboot. The screen on the other never refreshed to ask me to reboot. So I removed power then reapplied power.

The node came back up with the new name but now it won't let me into the setup. When I click the setup button the browser displays at the bottom this message: "Looking up cdn.leafletjs.com" then "Connecting to cdn.leafletjs.com" then back to "Looking up cdn.leafletjs.com" and just hangs. Of course it will never get to "cdn.leafletjs.com" since it is not connected to the internet.

I'm currently using an omni that has the elevation profile shown in the image. The maximum signal is between 0 and -10 degrees from the horizontal. For the distances between nodes this 5 degree down angle is problematic. It would be ideal if this were exactly 0. I'm having trouble find a an antenna in the 8 - 12 dBi range that radiates horizontal. Can someone recommend a product? -mikeu

I have an AirRouter running 3.16.1 and am seeing an increased number of OSLR restarts on the home page. Any ideas on this?

I would like to connect mesh nodes to a large network of Cisco switches where it would be difficult to reconfigure the existing vlan assignments to use vlans 1 and 2. Is it possible to renumber the vlans used by the mesh node? For example:

vlan20 WAN
vlan100 LAN
vlan110 DtD

I've tried a hundred or more times to unbrick my Nano Loco M2 It had 5.6.5 Ubiquity firmware  when new. I did the Uboot test and it failed. So I loaded up 5.5.11 and re-did the test. It showed Good-Good. So I flashed it with AREDN 3.1.16. It worked well for a few days, So, I installed up on the roof top mast. It worked a couple of days then failed. re-seting power to it from the adapter did nothing. I took it down (not an easy task for a guy in his 70's). It has been down for a month or more now.

Is there a way to determine what underlying UBNT Firmware is/was on a node before AREDN was installed on a node that currently has AREDN Firmware running?
