WAN Routing Between 192.168.1.x and Mesh LAN

My non mesh LAN and WAN (Internet) is on a 192.168.1.x network. My mesh LAN is on a 10.x.x.x network. I want to get to the 10.x.x.x network from my workstation on my 192.168.1.x and vice versa.

How do I get a static route in my mesh node that points back to an interface on the 10.x.x.x network as the next hop to the 192.168.1.x network?

Thanks

Group order for mobile VOIP box

Forums:

I've gotten requests to build people my VOIP box:

http://www.trevorsbench.com/portable-mesh-node-with-voip-and-wifi/

Building one just takes too much time to setup. However doing a bunch at once is much, much faster. I'm just seeing what interest there is to build a bunch at once.

Error in Netgear 1Node3LAN1WAN configuration

I just noticed an error in Netgear 1Node3LAN1WAN configuration.

For this configuration, in the second picture "VLAN Membership for VLAN 1" Port 5 should be a "U" NOT a "T" as shown. Otherwise, the rest of the diagrams are correct.

Nanostation XS

Forums:

Good day group,

I purchased a couple of Nanostations 2's via an auction website running Firmware Version:    XS2.ar2316.v4.0.4.5074.150724.1340.
When attempting to upload the latest Aredn factory firmware I get an "500 internal error no response" error. I tried various internet searches with no luck.

Any ideas how I can fix this and upload Aredn firmware onto this unit?

Thanks in advance.

Nanostation M5 XW no DtD Connectivity

Forums:
Good Evening:

In preparing a few nodes for deployment this weekend, I have a Nanostation M5 XW that I loaded 3.16.1 on only to find that the dtd to my toughswitch is not working. RF connections are great but no DtD at all. I have plugged other nodes into the same port with great results so I know the toughswitch is working.

I just loaded the 10-12 daily build to see if that helps but no joy. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Keith

NEW guy question.

Forums:
I am looking at making a local AREDN network wth the local HAM club. If I am reading your matrix correctly the Bullets are not affected by the XM and XW version issues?

2.4 Same Channel (-2) Antenna Co-location

Forums:
Hi All,

I've been reading through the forums including a number of posts which address antenna co-location (on a single tower or mast) to provide 360 degree coverage.  Lots of pointers on using RF shield kits, physical separation, channel spacing, etc.

A lot of the discussion seems to focus on using 5GHz in a point to point configuration with well spaced channels.  This works when you're generally planning a network and coordinating channels in advance.

TP-Link CPE210/510

Forums:

Has anyone tried out the TP-Link CPE210 and/or CPE510 with new AREDN firmware?

Quick view of CPE210 shows it to be very similar to NanoStation Loco M2. Some differences
noted are higher TX power (27dBm max.v 24dBm), beamwidth differences, and power requirement
(16v-27vdc versus 10.5v-25v). They list power comsumption as 10.5W max which seems high
compared to Loco M2. Downside is they can't run directly from 12-14vdc

At our end there is no push to move away from Ubiquiti; it is great equipment, though
it's good to have alternatives.

Supported Platform Matrix

Forums:

Is the Supported Platform Matrix on the website up to date for the models that are available and supported?

How do I tell if a router is XM or XW when buying one?  Also do international editions have both XM or XW or just one of them?

Has anyone tested the Chinese Routers made by KuWfi and others that can be acquired for about $50 US or less. http://www.hxfsunrise.com/html_products/300Mbps-Wireless-Outdoor-CPE-135.html

Hardware question

Forums:
I just noticed that an NSM2 loco identifies itself (with the current released firmware) as a "Ubiquiti Bullet M"

Is that correct?
