Hello all,

Total newbie here looking to make my first purchases of Ubiquiti gear.  

I'm unclear from the AirOS 5.6 warning if I need to avoid it completely or if the solution is simply flashing to 5.5.   

Any help appreciated.  

I have successfully flashed three air routers but tonight I came up against an unusual one.
This was a used unit in the standard Ubiquiti packaging and inside the box was a quickstart guide under the brand "Media Force"
It seems that this unit was originally supplied to the Royal Air Force by Media Force for internet access at the barracks of RAF Culdrose.
This was given away by an electrical test sticker on the psu.
Having tried unsuccessfully to do a hard reset I decided to try a tftp firmware recovery.

Someone reported that the older XM 5.5x and less was not on the downloads for Ubiquity - sure enough I don't see it anymore. Unless I'm just missing something it's been removed.

EDIT - I do have copies of the loco and the NS2 firmware, 5.5x - I thought I'd post a link for it but that may be a no-no, any comments?

Has anyone successfully setup an EdgeRouter X?  If so, I'd love some advice.
I'm trying to configure for 1WAN, 2Node, and 2LAN  as follows.

EN0 - This has POE in
     EN0.1 VLAN 1 - Management - and connected to WAN.  I successfully get a DHCP reservation and can connect to the console. 
EN1 - LAN A
    EN1.11 VLAN 11 - for LAN A
EN2 - NODE A
    EN2.2 - VLAN2 for DtD
    EN2.11 - VLAN 11 for LAN A  (I have corrected this to provide a LAN to Node A). 
EN3 - LAN B
    EN3.22 - VLAN 22 for LAN B
EN4 - POE out. 

Hi all,
Looking for some help setting up a Netgear GS108Tv2 switch.  I’ve read and read about all this but just can’t seem to get my arms around it.  Here’s the situation:

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find anything.  

Is the PicoStation 2 HP supported?  I didn't see it on the list of supported hardware but wanted to confirm before selling it.  I bought it used without looking real close at the model.  I have a feeling I'm out of luck.  

 

 I had an earlier version of AREDN running on my nanostation, and wanted to try the latest Beta.  Someone I wedged things. I tried to go back to TFTP recovery mode.  I unplugged power (cable is only 10 feet long, so not a distance problem).  I used a paper clip into reset, turned power on. LED's light, but it never goes into the flashing RED/YELLOW tftp boot mode.  Before, when I was getting the blinking mode, when I ran tftp, it would do the upload, but then on the last packet (size was less than 512), it would get timeouts instead.  Using a macbook with tftp.
