MikroTik RB911G-2HPnD-12S mANTBox - No Channels -1 or -2 ??

Forums:

Looking at the MikroTik RB911G-2HPnD-12S mANTBox radio for a permanent AREDN node installation.  I don't see this device on the hardware matrix, but I do see there is another MikroTik RB911 device listed under 5Ghz hardware.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge if the AREDN firmware can be loaded onto this device?

Thanks!

Link Quality/Neighbor Quality and SNR don't agree

Forums:
Hi, everyone,

I have a strange question. We have two nodes. Node 1 is a Rocket with a 120-degree sector antenna mounted at 263' AGL and Node 2 is a Ubiquiti dish mounted at around 40' AGL. Up until this past week, they've had LQ/NLQ in the high 80's to 100. Now, the qualities are all over the board, but the SNR chart shows around an 18 SNR. Everything is mounted securely, so there hasn't been any movement. Both are running on 5.8 GHz with about an 11-mile distance between them.

I'm looking for any suggestions on where to start looking.

Bullet M5 won't flash

Forums:

I know the answer is probably in the forums somewhere, and I did search, but it is late and I am probably missing the obvious.

I have a Bullet M5HP that will not take the firmware.  It is running currently running AirOS XM.v6.1.7.
TFTP keeps giving me firmware checksum failed error.
I vaguely remember having issues with this on previous nodes, but it has been long enough that I don't remember what I did to get it to work.

What am I missing?

M5 Rocket Rebooting

What in the world would cause a node to be in a reboot cycle?

Bullet type identification

Forums:
I'm managing 4ea Bullet M2 nodes on roofs and towers, so physical access is difficult.
In the past, the type of M2 hardware didn't seem to matter (or i've been lucky), so i don't have records for serial/model numbers.
It seems that the newest version of the firmware has 3 different versions, depending on what type of bullet it is being installed on.

The firmware chart shows:
Bullet M2 Titanium      needs   aredn-3.20.3.0-ar71xx-ubnt-bullet-m-sysupgrade.bin
Bullet M2 (XM)            needs   aredn-3.20.3.0-ath79-ubnt_bullet-m-sysupgrade.bin

GS105Ev2

I feel bad asking this question but I once again need to configure a GS105Ev2 switch to provide Internet access on a port for mesh network.
It as been a few years and I have forgotten how this is done.

Low memory hardware status

Forums:
Now that there is a new version OS that I had heard takes up less space. Is this still a problem with the hardware that is listed as   "AREDN Stable, but, NOT recommended for new deployments.  (Low memory or non-MIMO device" in https://www.arednmesh.org/content/supported-platform-matrix ?

Mounting a Basebox5 to a RocketDish

Forums:

I'm looking at using a Mikrotik Basebox 5 radio mounted to a Ubiquiti RocketDish (specifically, an RD-5G30-LW with ISO-BEAM-620). However, the mounting systems for the radio and the dish are totally different. A Google search has not turned up any adapters or how-to guides, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried this and if so, how did you accomplish it? It's clear you could use some zip ties, but I'm looking for a more robust solution.
