I'm trying to setup 3 Rocket M5s and one Mikrotik hAP with DTD.  I'm also trying to setup 3 LAN ports assigned to the hAP.  I can't seem to get the DTD work right with this router and the 4 NODES.  Are there any Issues with trying to do DTD with an hAP?  I've also extended the hAP land connections to 13.

Basic config is 
1 Management TTTTTTTU
2 DtD   TTTTEEEE
11 Vlan11.  EEEEUUUE

Port 1 - M5
Port 2- M5
Port 3- M5
Port 4-hAP
Port 5-LAN
port6-LAN
port7-LAN
port8-WAN

Revert MikroTik hAP back to RouterOS

Hey,

I wonder if it is possible to revert a MikroTik hAP AC back to RouterOS operation system?
I've the latest RouterOS firmware but not sure how to do that and if it's actually an option.

Is it possible to add a remote phone to a PBX if it is connected via mesh and has its own dhcp node?

 Hi all. 
Sorry if I'm posting in wrong section. I am having an issue with connecting to voip phone connected to the gl.inet device over mesh. I have tested a different    phone with same results. The phone will not register with freepbx on the network either. I am not an expert with Wireshark but when I try to log into phones      web gui it never responds. I never see any packets respond.

Have two NanoBridge 5G25 (32Mb RAM) dishes at a permanent non-critical site on different channels dtd'd to each other pointing to two different hilltops.  They were updated to 3.22.8.0 when it came out and have been working just fine up until a few weeks ago.

Now when accessed via the MESH, would get in Firefox web browser (Also same result in Chrome),  Redirecting then a Bad Gateway error message on both.  Even accessing via the switch at the site caused same.  Downgraded one to 3.22.6.0 and it seemed to work better for a bit.  Then same.

I expected to find the AREDN software I had loaded last year on this SXTsq Lite2, but found what appears to be Mikrotik router ver 6.45.9 (long term). Screen capture attached. I'm wondering how should I go about loading the current AREDN sw? Thanks.

 

New Install Didn't Calculate It's Mesh IP Address

I had a bit of trouble installing AREDN on a new Rocket M5 because the reset button was flaky. There is no tactile feedback, and I was just missing the button with my magic paperclip. Eventually it came up with the 1-3, 2-4 dancing LEDs on 192.168.1.20 and I was able to upload the AREDN image. I did not need to set up a DHCP server.

Does the USB serial port on the GL.iNet GL-AR300M16-Ext have any functionality after loading AREDN firmware?

I am asking because I have a solar charge controller that is accessible via serial port and I would like to intergrate that charger controller into my AREDN network at my location.

Hi, I wanted to ask for recommendations for my first node setup. I live in Concord, CA . My home is 6.69 miles away in straight line NZ6J-Kregor-Peak, 2.85 miles KI6LNB-NSM5, and 3.67 miles KN6QOX-PHill I have a mast on top of my garage roof that I like to install the 5.8 GHz Node, wanted to get advice I know there is  5.8 GHz chip shortage for Ubiquiti NanoStation M5 or Ubiquiti Rocket M5, I was looking at MikroTik RBSXTsq5HPnD or the RBLHG-5nD also my Mom and Dad home is  only 0.75 Miles away and like to have Node setup there also
