I got a new MikroTik RBLHG-2nD-XL with OS: RouterOS v6.40.9.
The default IP is 192.168.88.1.
Some of the instructions to load AREDN software for this device may need to consider an extra step to change the default address on the device, or the PC network address.

Having said this, I have not been able to get the AREDN firmware to stick even getting the addressing correct.
I can get to the initial AREDN screen sometimes, but the node returns to its MikroTik fw after a reboot.
I've tried the 3.19 and the nightly build 1022.

The latest supported matrix lists the Mikrotik LHG2.  Would that also include the LHG XL2?  That looks to be the same device with a larger dish.

Is there a way to added static routes for specific servers that are Internet connected, or in a pinch, to create 0.0.0.0 route to a gateway IP(for a router)?

In my test example:  I have a Rocket m5 on a 400' building with a 120-degree sector antenna.  In range of that radio are 8 Nanobridge devices on a mesh network.  
Nanobridge #1 is at a repeater site with Internet
Nanobridge #8 is at a home site with Internet

Sorry if this question has already been addressed.  I would like to know what the LEDs are programed to do on the Mikrotik Basebox.  I have a new unit with 1080 firmware.  I can see the unit from my other nodes but only have one green LED.

I have read several forum threads and I'm still a bit confused about connecting one Nanostation to another.  Here is what I would like to do:

Right now I have a hAP in the house with cable running to the roof connected to the main port of a Nanostation M2 (via the hAP DTD port) with POE supply in-line.  I also have a Nanostation M5 on the roof (off-line right now) and would like to connect the M5 to the M2 vice running a second cable to the roof (I don't like ladders).

My questions are:

Which file should be used for a basebox?  The file naming convention is a bit confusing to me.

Hello to all,

I have a couple of newly purchased Powerbeam M5 300 nodes.  I have successfully installed the AREDN frimware and now want to upgrade via the GUI.  When I click upload, it simply drops the browser page and does nothing.

Any ideas  would be helpful to this newby.
