Below is the link to the images and packages for pre-nightly build ready for early testing.   Please assist as able to help test.  We are looking for confidence to put into the nightly build.  Please only consider testing if you are confident with loading AREDN images and using basic linux shell command line to return diagnostic information.

 I know that 5g is the best for range but are there any that stand out above the rest as far as power out put an range

I’m stuck and I need help loading the AREDN firmware onto my Powerbeam with my Mac.
I have the Powerbeam M5 400 factory file from http://downloads.arednmesh.org/firmware/ubnt/html/stable.html 
What I think I need is some help with the TFTP commands.
Who wants to Elmer me with this?

DIY cross polarized yagi for 900mhz?

Has anyone built a cross polarized yagi for 900mhz Rocket? Or have you used two separate yagis at different polarization's next to each other for the same result? What spacing would you need. Those Ubiquiti 900 AirMax Mimo yagis are super long and super expensive, so looking for more compact options and diy options.

Nanostation M2 Recovery

I have inherited a NanoStation M2 with AREDN 3.16.x on it and I don't have the root password. So I'm trying to recover it and seemed to not being able to find the correct firmware for it.

M/N: NanoStationM2
FCC ID: SWX-M2N
IC: 6545A-M2N

So is this the non XW version? I've tried the Factory image aredn-3.19.3.0-ubnt-nano-m-xw-factory.bin and it gives a firmware error so I assume it's the wrong one. I don't see a firmware that is not XW. So what do I load on this to reset it so I can get it working again?

Hello Group,

What would be the complications if any if I tried to build a near 360 deg coverage with ubiquity 2.4GHz nano's. Has anyone else tried this and what were you results?

I am trying to get near 360 deg coverage without using a bullet and an omni which I have heard do not yield the best results.

I've been eyeing this system for a while, but just came upon some cheap hardware to potentially give AREDN a try. I picked up this AC Gen2 PowerBeam for a shamefully low price with the thought that it might be a good candidate for AREDN. Now upon checking out the supported hardware list, I don't see this one listed. Is this one just untested, or is the chipset entirely unsupported? I appreciate any guidance!

Hi all,

Any recommendations/suggestions as to how this switch should be configured for AREDN use?  Should I pattern it off the Netgear GS108E?

This switch has PoE (24/48v) capabilities.

Connect two Rocket M5's to one Mikrotik hAP?

I have a ​MikroTik hAP ac lite Dual (RB952Ui-5ac2nD-US). I have successfully connected a Rocket M5 to port 5 and it shows up as a DtD connection. What if I wanted to add another Rocket M5 or a PowerBeam to it? Can I connect it (through a PoE injector) to one of the other LAN ports on the hAP?
