Bricked: GL-USB-AR150

Forums:

Using the GUI I dragged-n-dropped
aredn-902-9566393-gl-usb150-sysupgrade.bin
into the 'drag-n-drop' window in the GUI.
Auto-GUI-firmware reboot started and failed to restart.
I get no DHCP assigned address from the USB.
Cold boot failS.
I found this debrick instruction:
https://docs.gl-inet.com/en/3/troubleshooting/debrick/
I found device enx00e04c360157
ifconfig enx00e04c360157 192.168.1.1
Still no response.

PTZ control/ONVIF

Forums:

I have three Sunba PTZ cameras on my network.  They're ONVIF compliant, but commanding them in PTZ has required a Windows 10 computer, IE and the vendor's proprietary DirectX plugin.

I run mostly Linux at home.   Happytime ONVIF client was recommended to me as a PTZ client.  It works in Windows, and also under Wine in Linux, but I've found its PTZ control to be 'glitchy'.   (Maybe I haven't found the correct configuration yet).

TP Link CPE210

Forums:

Can't find an AREDN firmware that will load into aTP Link CPE210 v2.8 hardware with internal v2.2 firmware.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Mikrotik LAN 2.4?

Forums:
I have a Mikrotik hap ac lite node. The LAN wifi access is only available on 5GHz. Is this normal or am I missing 2.4?

MikroTik hAP upgrade to v3.20.3.0 firmware

Forums:

My MikroTik hAP tunnel server stopped working 2 nights ago.  On investigation I found that the firmware was now updated to v3.20.3.0.  A simple reboot restored the tunnel connections, so no problem there.  The head-scratcher is that there are just two of us with the password to this device, and neither one of us initiated a firmware upgrade.

This seems like a silly question, but is there something in the firmware that would cause a MikroTik hAP router to automatically upgrade itself to the v3.20.3.0 firmware?

Mikrotik SXT 5 High Power now in nightly build

Forums:

The Mikrotik SXTsq 5HPnD is now in the nightly build (overnight).  Also called "SXTsq 5 Higher Power".  This handy little device reuses the LHG 5HPnD motherboard with a ~4" square panel antenna.   Careful to not confuse with some of the older SXT 5 lite devices which are circular flat panel packaging (and not currently defined in the AREDN firmware).

* 28dBm max power
* 64MB RAM
* 16MB NOR Flash
* suggest pricing $49
* 16dBi gain panel

Ubiquiti G3 Flex

Forums:
I am still new to AREDN. I have a small mesh with 2 Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco 2 and 2 NanoBridge 5G22 with an EdgeSwitch 5xp up and running. VLAN 1,2,10 and 20. A laptop connected via VLAN 10 to a NS2, a UVC G3 Flex via VLAN 20 to a NB5, and the two radios connected via VLAN 2. I can connect from the laptop to any of the nodes via mesh. I get pictures from the camera on the laptop, but only at about 1 to 2 pps. It should be possible to get realtime video (25 or 30 pps) on the laptop. Do I have to set up a service on the NB5 node or what?

Mikrotik hAP ac lite - bricked!!!

Forums:
Hi friends.
How do you do? I hope you stay all well. I've my hAP bricked... I needed to change LAN config from 1 IP to 5 IP and it gave me errors.
So I've resetted config... I've entered new node name and password and it reboot itself. After that, no sign of life!
when I power on the hAP it blinks all leds, then only power led stay on and cannot reach any port... port leds always off.
It seems not able to load any OS. I've tried to load original RouterOS with Mikrotik Netinstall with no success.
Have I broken it in a definitive way????

Capturing System Voltage

Forums:
Good Morning Group,

I have deployed a node at a remote site and am looking to see what my options are for capturing voltage. At this time I only have one radio on location. It is on 2 batteries with no way to generate power at this time. Is there something in a ubiquity nano that will allow you to look at system voltage in the command line? I know secondary systems like a Pi or Arduino can do it as well but I am trying to limit my power consumption with extra devices.

Thanks in advance!
