AR300M16 fails to upload firmware

Forums:
I have tried two AR300M16 devices trying to upload the AREDN firmware using the System > Uprgade > Local Upgrade.  I tried 3 versions of the .bin file, 3.23, 3.24, and 3.25.  In all cases, the upload is successful, but the Firmware Verification fails.  I checked the SHA256 and it matches what is shown when I download the firmware from thee AREDN site.

two services - mesh disappears completely

Forums:
Hi all,
more strange stuff: finally got 3.25.2 onto my Mikrotik ac3, all settings and tunnels reestablished, got DtD back again (had disappeared on 3-24-10) and was setting up my services when something weird happened - the whole mesh connection would disappear..

Locked Up Node

Forums:
Not 100% sure, but I may have found a bug. I was in my setup page and making a change, I think it was to the number of users. I clicked save. The page spent a long time waiting to reload. After about 15 minutes I just closed the window. Now I can't get back into my node at all from the web page perspective (status/setup/supporttool). The meshchat is running but I can't get into it at all.

So one question, did I uncover a bug? (Or did I do something stupid?)

Second question, how do I recover it?

3.25.5.0 Babel routing

Forums:
Hi
I have a new Mikrotik ac3 as my main node with client tunnel towards nc8q and one tunnel server.
After upgrade from NB to 3.25.0 I just had a lot of routing issues, no routing from LAN til WAN on the ac3, meaning the map in the location window disappeared, and of course since no routing to WAN an access to internet.

Bricked ac lite with upgrade to 3.25.5.0

Forums:
Hello,

Upgraded from 3.25.2.0 to 3.25.5.0 on a MikroTik RouterBOARD 952Ui-5ac2nD (hAP ac lite) on Saturday May 10, 2025.  I used the AREDN interface to facilitate the fetch and update.  The hAP ac lite unit is unresponsive.  It never came back to life or rebooted into the new firmware.

Version 3.25.5.1 port forwarding not working

Forums:

Using  MikroTik hAp ac3 and have migrated to release 3.25.5.1 as soon as it was released and all seemed good.
Noticed 24 hours ago ( May 20) that the rsync  through my node started to fail after being on the new release for awhile.
Checking two other port forwarding rules and found that they were also failing.

I failed back to version 3.25.2.0 and all  port forwarding rules  work again. reinstall version 3.25.5.1 and the problem returned.
All hardware was rebooted, but the issue persists with 3.25.5.1 with port forwarding failing.

Cannot disable watchdog on rocket AC for upgrade

Forums:
When attempting to upgrade a rocket AC from 3.24.10.0 to 3.25.2.0, keep getting the warning that watchdog is running
even though it has been disabled.

Since the node in on a tower do not want to proceed until I have some way to be sure that it is safe to upgrade. Do not want to brick
the node.

Is the warning message a bug?  I can telnet to the node can check running processes if I know what to look for.

Would link to get version 3.25.20 install so it will be ready for the new upcoming release with bable/

Thank you

Ubiquiti Rocket M5 in boot loop

Forums:
Hi,

For some time now we have been struggling with the connection to one of our remote nodes. Yesterday we found the reason, we noticed that the Ubiquiti Rocket M (with firmware 3.25.5.1) constantly reboots after a 7 to 10 minutes uptime (boot loop). In order not to disturb the network any longer, we switched it off.
This morning my colleague noticed exactly the same thing at a second, recently installed remote site, again it is a Rocket M, this time with firmware 3.25.2.0, also in a boot loop.
