Firmware for Ubiquiti Nanobridge M3

Forums:
I'm trying to upgrade my Ubiquiti Nanobridge M3 firmware from 3.23.4.0 to 3.23.12.0, but I keep getting a "wrong version" error. I've tried it with several different versions, but none will take. Attached is a screenshot of my firmware update screen showing the current version. 73, WO6BRO

Map shows pink (900MHz) for 5GHz channel

Forums:
Just helped N7JS get his Ubiquiti LiteBeam LBE-5AC-Gen2 flashed from stock to AREDN 3.24.4.0 and helped him upload to the map server. We tuned it to 5GHz / Channel 182. It appears on the map as 900MHz / pink. We didn't do anything custom, it was all by the AREDN documentation.
Also note that the LBE-5AC-Gen2 has two wireless radios in it. We had the 2.4GHz set for LAN.

Block Known Encryption

Forums:

Are there any known issues with the installation of blockknownencryption? I have tried applying to nodes only to find it appears to be blocking all web access regardless of page content. I would have anticipated receiving warnings that a page could not be viewed due to encrypted content rather than blocking everything.

x86 VM issues on KVM/QEMU

Forums:
I'm using KVM virtualization on an Ubuntu server so I decided to give the x86 VM a try.  I converted the raw image to qcow2, then created a VM based on the disk image.  I gave it 4 processor cores and 2 GB of memory.  The VM booted, and I was able to get into the firstboot web interface.  The VM issued an IP address on the 192.168.1.0/24 network and everything seemed to be working fine.  I logged in with the default credentials and changed the node name and password, then saved the info and allowed the VM to reboot.  After the reboot, the web interface is no longer available.

5 MHz Channel Width for MikroTik LHG 5 AC XL

Forums:
Hi There,

I would appreciate help as I need to have a 5 MHz channel width to connect to the node  “VE7MIR-KU-Rptr-NW” some 50 km from my location.  Connecting with this node has been tested from my location with a MikroTik LGH 5 XL node and a SNR of 27 dB was obtained.

See page 1 of the attached file "MikroTik_LHGXL5AC_5MHz_ Forum_Submission.pdf" which provides details of the node I wish to connect to.  Note that the SSID is “AREDN-5-v3” indicating a 5 MHz channel width.

Problems Antenna at Port5 of HAP AC lite is not seen (SXTSQ5 or Ubiquity M5)

Forums:
Initial situation:
Mikrotik hap ac lite and mikrotik sxtsq antenna bought new, flashed to 24.10,
connected to port 5 of the HAP.
Antenna not visible in dtd (not even after a long wait!)

Same using an brandnew Ubiquity M5. same problem as with the Mikrotik SXTSQ. Not seen in dtd either.

Workaraound:

I flashed down both my new HAP ac Lite and the antenna back to 23.8. dtd is suddenly there!
Everything seems OK.

Then flashed again to 24.10, dtd stays and works.
This means that there must be a bug in 24.10 (VLAN). But in migration takes the good config with it

59 commits changing ports

Forums:
I have experienced this a couple times trying to change port settings.  I only enabled WAN on one of the local ports.  It then displays 59 pending changes.  Commiting changes never seems to complete.

On my first attempt, I gave up and refreshed and/or rebooted after maybe an hour of waiting.  That seemed to have corrupted some settings stopping the device from seeing another node.  How long should this normally take and are there really 59 changes by just enabling WAN on one local port?
