Mikrotik LDF5 Upgrade / Firmware Issue

I'm not able to upgrade a mikrotik LDF5 to 3.23.8.0.

The automatic upgrade via the admin interface says

Firmware CANNOT be updated
firmware file checksum failed



If I manually download firmware from the website and upload it manually (aredn-3.23.8.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-ldf-5nd-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin) , I get the error

Firmware CANNOT be updated
firmware file is not valid: firmware device match failed

Dangerous! :-)
Casey, in a few cases, you have to disable Dangerous Upgrades to proceed.  I believe this is one of them.  It's in Advanced Configuration.
