Problem flashing Ubiquiti Litebeam AC3

Forums:

I have followed the instructions at https://docs.arednmesh.org/en/latest/arednGettingStarted/installing_firm... to a "T". I had to upgrade the firmware to 8.7.4, no problem. But I can't copy the AREDN firmware to the Litebeam.

From the command prompt, I tried
scp <aredn-image-factory.bin> admin@192.168.1.20:/tmp/factory.bin

No go- received unable to negotiate error.

AREDN Support for Cudy TR1200 (mt76x8 chipset)

Forums:
I have a Cudy TR1200 travel router. Its hardware is very similar to the OpenWRT One device — both use the mt76x8 chipset.

I successfully built the AREDN firmware for this device, but I encountered a few issues:

- LAN and WAN ports do not work initially, but I wrote a startup script that fixes this automatically when the device boots.
- DTDLink (Device-to-Device Link) is currently not working.
- On 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, channels -1, -2, -3, and -4 appear in the list, but none of them are functional. I tested channel -2, but it did not work.

GL iNet-AR300m16-EXT Flash Problem

Forums:

I have the above unit and downloaded the software.   When flashing to AREDN Firmware from stock, using the Update procedures, I get the following error "Failed! ERROR: Incorrect firmware format!"

Tried on two different machines, using Stable and Nightly builds.  Any one have a clue how to proceed??  The model appears to be supported, best I can tell.

GL-AR300m16-ext - not accepting firmware

Forums:
I just purchased 3 GL-iNet mini smart routers "shadow", model GLL-AR300M16-Ext. and I cannot seem to get the ARDEN firmware to take.

When I upload aredn-20250928-dadf66e3-ath79-nand-glinet_gl-ar300m-nand-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin the router accepts the firmware with warning, displays the keep settings slider, and presents the "install" button.  I press install, router reboots back to GL-iNET firmware.

Ubiquiti PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 FW install issue

Forums:
I am having an issue trying to install the AREDN FW on a PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 that is on the stock Ubiquiti FW v 8.7.0 build 42152. The radio is connected through a stand alone switch and seen at 192.168.1.20 as expected. I can access the Ubiquiti setup at that address. When I power it up while holding the reset button, I also get the flashing 1-3, 2-4 LEDs as expected. I am using tftp under windows:

tftp.exe -i 192.168.1.20 put C:\temp\aredn-3.25.10.0-ath79-generic-ubnt_powerbeam-5ac-gen2-squashfs-factory.bin

ARDEN Net firmware for OpenWRT One won't provide save on page

Forums:
I've got a BananaPi OpenWRT One router. The base OpenWRT firmware works fine. Upload the ARDEN firmware for the device. Using aredn-3.25.10.0-mediatek-filogic-openwrt_one-squashfs-sysupgrade.itb. Once the firmware is installed,  the initial status page comes up without the ability to save the entries. I'm not sure what is going on. I have followed the troubleshooting process. Reflashed the device several times with the same result. Looking for some options to get this node up and rolling.

LANs go up and down?

Forums:
This is a Rocket 5AC running the latest (as of today) Babel only nightly. However, it has been behaving this way for many previous versions, although I can't tell you exactly when it started. The node appears to work OK otherwise.

Attached is part of the syslog. Yes, cabling and POE are good.
