Hap AC Lite issue DNS or IP ?

Hey all - new here.  

I've got a Hap AC Lite setup with WAN on my home network - so it has internet connection.  It's successfully tunneled to a friend site. 

I am trying to connect to it with a mini travel router - single WAN single LAN -- Lan connected to laptop - no WAN.  it's using the 2Ghz band, channel -2 10Mhz.
default settings.  

I can see the Hap just fine - but if I try to click on any services (meshchat) or any tunnel services from other sites - I get a page not found - err.

I'm flashing the Ubiquiti Bullet AC 3.24.10 and following the instructions it does come up but:
1) Switches from 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.1 and does DHCP service.
2) Only Telnet and ssh services running, no webservice.
3) The ash CLI is running and you can telnet or ssh in.

So sysupgrade to the nightly build, now web service works with the new UI but lots of stuff missing. I can change the node name, password, and location, but the usual "todo" list isn't there, just a blank yellow area. Most normal new UI stuff is missing.

Mikrotik Basebox Out of Date - Can't Update?

I have an older Mikrotik basebox on a tower that has not been updated in awhile.

"Current Version: 3.22.12.0 Hardware Type: (ar71xx/mikrotik) mikrotik (rb-912uag-2hpnd)"

Can someone advise how I can advance this older load to get up to date?

Was not able to get 3.24.10.0 nor even 3.24.6.0 to work right so ended up installing nightly 20241128-d7754d89 and that seems to pretty much work but I did find an issue in that it will not save DHCP MAC reservations.

After selecting the leases I want to reserve, I click the DONE button and the popup closes. However I am never presented the usual COMMIT banner at the top either, the popup simply closes. When I reopen to check, the LAN DHCP popup is like I never selected any reservations.

My rocket has always worked. But suddenly I cannot connect to it from my PC.  The RF and is working as I can connect to it from other nodes.
Suggestions?

Rocket 5AC Lite Stuck on NOCALL setup page

Have flashed the Factory image as per the Ubiquiti first flash set up and currently will not go past the NOCALL page (initial setup - change node name/password).

I can log in to the admin setup page and change the Node Name and Password but when it reboots, it goes back to the NOCALL page as if nothing was saved. I have tried everything that I can think of.. Changing from static to DHCP, unplugging the node, soft reseting the node, clearing browser cache, trying different browsers.

Addendum:  I have been informed that some of the LBEs had different flash chips, something that will be addressed in a future version of the code. Since I sent my inaccessible LBE back via RMA and was sent a new unit in return, it is possible that I just got lucky this time around with the replacement's flash chip. All I would advise is that if you get to "step 3" in my original posting, where the wifi "mesh 2" network is the only option you have for accessing the unit.

Rocket R5AC no network?

I bought a used Rocket R5AC-lite. I got the firmware flashed in the typical fashion with no issues. However it now does not DtD link with other nodes!
I have these devices, all have current firmware 3.24.10.0
  • Mikrotik RB750UPr2 setup with a simple bridge on all ports. no filtering, NAT, vlan, nothing.
  • Mikrotik hAP Ac lite
  • GL.iNet GL-AR750
  • the Rocket R5AC-lite in question
 
  • The hAP and AR750 have DtD linked to each other, but neither one can "see" the R5AC.

I have been working on the hAP ac3. The new update fixed dtd issues. Now I see the dish on local node list. I go to click on the device and get the UI - 

Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at n5jlp-708-w-ave-o-tower.local.mesh.

If use a poe and connect it to the computer I can get in the node.

Whats the issue here? Its on port 5 dtd. We can access the allstar node on the other dish. I know the link is solid.

Mikrotik XL HP5 ethernet issue

Recently upgraded to ver 25.x.x successfully, went into package management to remove and reinstall meshchat.  After rebooting no ethernet activity.  I'm unable to recover ethernet and the node.  Suggestions?
