PowerBeam-M2-400 Firmware?

Forums:
I have a Ubiquiti PowerBeam-M2-400.  However, when I visit the downloads page (https://www.arednmesh.org/content/current-software) and search for it, all I see is "no model found".

The list of firmware though shows it here:  http://downloads.arednmesh.org/firmware/html/SUPPORTED_DEVICES.md

PowerBeam-M2-400

If I search on PowerBeam, only the XW version shows.

No WAN on GL-AR300M16-ext

Forums:
I have a GL-AR300M16-ext node where I loaded the AREDN firmware V3.23.4.0 some months ago and it was working fine.through a tunnel.

Gl.iNet GL-AR300M Nand

Forums:
I got this little router, and I've followed the steps to upgrade the firmware, per the First Install Instructions in the document. When I get to the "Upgrade Firmware Local" in the advanced settings area, I choose the file, and the device comes back and says it's an invalid image file. I've used the sys-upgrade.bin file from the currently nightly build, the 3.23.4.0 build, and I tried the 3.22.12.0 build. And it always comes back saying it's an invalid image file. Any suggestions, to get this onto the AREDN build?

Thanks

MikroTik hAP AC3 initial AREDN Loading

Forums:
I've not seen anything specific to the new hardware regarding the Mikrotik hAP AC3 and the initial loading of AREDN firmware.
Would this follow the same process, changing the initial load firmware name, rb.elf?
I have one here new in the box and am cautiously contemplating the process to load with AREDN and wish to not mess it up..

Thanks,
Jim W8ERW

Is ath71 support deprecated

Forums:
Hi All,

I checked the supported hardware matrix and decided to buy a pair of Ubiquiti Litebeam 5 (LBE-M5-23-US) since the matrix showed the hardware was supported (light green). But when I checked available firmware, I see that ath71 based hardware is only supported till 3.22.12. Going over OpenWRT forums, what I understand is that while ath71 targets can be ported to the latest OpenWRT (and Aredn) firmware but it requires work and that hasn't happened.

DIY antenna connection to router

Forums:
Hi All,
I'm just getting into AREDN and after looking at some youtube videos and forums I want to build my own parabolic reflector antenna. The only issue with this is that it seems like I need some sort of converter/encoder/transceiver to go from the antenna coax to ethernet. I've seen one person do this on youtube with a ubiquiti bullet M2 but I'm wondering if that is necessary because its not cheap. Ideally I'd like to make my own 2.4/5ghz parabolic antenna and then just have that go to the microtik hAP ac lite (because that's been recommended as cheap and usable).

Mikrotik SXTsq 5 High Power gets stuck at boot up

Forums:
Hi All,

I have a "RBSXTsq5HPnD-US" (interestingly, the "IC" value on the back says 7442A-LHG5HPND). I got the latest Aredn firmware flashed on it (3.24.4.0). Everything else seems to work fine on it except at bootup, it gets stuck as a DHCP client.

Ubiquity Lite Beam

Forums:
Is this the Lite Beam listed on the Aredn Matrix as usable? https://www.amazon.com/LiteBeam-LBE-5AC-Gen2-Ethernet-Protector-High-Spe...
Thank you.

GL-iNet question

Forums:
Hopefully someone can save me a step and sanity by simply asking this question? I see on the supported devices the GL.iNet GL-AR150 is in the researching phase. I have a couple ar300m (shadow) laying around and was wondering if the two models are close enough to try and and install on it? I know they are two different routers but I figured maybe a long shot there was a chance. Then I figured maybe I will just ask and save myself trouble if someone knew already? Any advice?

Ubiquiti AirMAX LiteBeam M5 23 dBi (LBE-M5-23)

Forums:

Greetings folks!

I've looked through the available downloads and supported hardware, but nothing is listed for the LiteBeam.

Is this piece of hardware similar to any other?
Can it be used?
If so, which firmware should be flashed into it?

Thanks!
Matt
