Searching for cost effective Gateway - advice needed

I'm searching for a cost effective (or lowest price) for a single node that I can use as a gateway to a home router.  I'm using several Bullet's, M2's, M5's, AiirRouter HP's and a couple AirGateways and 2 M900's.  I'm looking for the absolute simplest lowest cost device to use as a gateway to a home router and connect a relatively short distance to the nearest node (~100 feet) which is on 2.4 Ghz.   I don't think the home router supports VLAN.

Hello all,

Total newbie here looking to make my first purchases of Ubiquiti gear.  

I'm unclear from the AirOS 5.6 warning if I need to avoid it completely or if the solution is simply flashing to 5.5.   

Any help appreciated.  

Air Router (Media Force) Branded Firmware Locked.

I have successfully flashed three air routers but tonight I came up against an unusual one.
This was a used unit in the standard Ubiquiti packaging and inside the box was a quickstart guide under the brand "Media Force"
It seems that this unit was originally supplied to the Royal Air Force by Media Force for internet access at the barracks of RAF Culdrose.
This was given away by an electrical test sticker on the psu.
Having tried unsuccessfully to do a hard reset I decided to try a tftp firmware recovery.

Someone reported that the older XM 5.5x and less was not on the downloads for Ubiquity - sure enough I don't see it anymore. Unless I'm just missing something it's been removed.

EDIT - I do have copies of the loco and the NS2 firmware, 5.5x - I thought I'd post a link for it but that may be a no-no, any comments?

Nanobridge M2 setup troubles

Setting up three nanobridge m2's with AREDN. First two no problem. Last one, whenever I try to save the changes (or reset or default) it jumps back to the browser saying "this site can't be reached". Any idea what is going on? Jerry w5mig

Forgive me if this has already been answered, but I couldn't find anything.  

Is the PicoStation 2 HP supported?  I didn't see it on the list of supported hardware but wanted to confirm before selling it.  I bought it used without looking real close at the model.  I have a feeling I'm out of luck.

I have rescued 3 nodes now from bricked status but just got a new one that does not respond.  I wonder if they have changed something again.
The node is a new Bullet M2 Titanium
The symptom is that I can get no output from the serial port.  So I can't command the urescue.

Holding down the reset at power-up for 10 seconds or so will put it into the TFTP loop and it will respond to a ping and accept a 5.6 load (but not a 5.5).

Good day group,

I purchased a couple of Nanostations 2's via an auction website running Firmware Version:    XS2.ar2316.v4.0.4.5074.150724.1340. 
When attempting to upload the latest Aredn factory firmware I get an "500 internal error no response" error. I tried various internet searches with no luck.

Any ideas how I can fix this and upload Aredn firmware onto this unit?

Nanostation M5 XW no DtD Connectivity

Good Evening:

In preparing a few nodes for deployment this weekend, I have a Nanostation M5 XW that I loaded 3.16.1 on only to find that the dtd to my toughswitch is not working. RF connections are great but no DtD at all. I have plugged other nodes into the same port with great results so I know the toughswitch is working. 

I just loaded the 10-12 daily build to see if that helps but no joy. Any ideas?

I am looking at making a local AREDN network wth the local HAM club. If I am reading your matrix correctly the Bullets are not affected by the XM and XW version issues?
