TP-Link EAP 110, will it work?

I have a couple of these access points, I do not see anything about them but then there are other devices that I have found are not listed but are working.

Does anyone know if these can be put into AREDN service?

Not sure if there has been a discussion here about this new product(Beta store only as of this time). This should work great for temporary installs or those installed in places with no power available.

Ubiquiti Litebeam 5AC Gen2 OS downgrade not working

Forums:
Hi there, my new Ubuiquiti Litebeam 5AC Gen2 denies to be downgraded to OS v8.7.0 as described in the manual. It run on 8.7.11 build 46972 -> if I try to upload v8.7.0 I get an error saying "incorrect firmware version. Please upload v8.7.4 or newer". Now I've downgraded to v8.7.4 but still no luck to install v8.7.0 now. Any suggestions?

Ubiquity Powerbeam 500 gen2 unsupportet?

Forums:
Hello Everybody,
i got two PowerBeam AC GEN2 M/N:PBE-5AC-ISO-Gen2 Nodes.

The AREDN firmware installation fails. I get the message that it is an unsupported device. Both with version v3.23.4.0 and with Nightly Build 2023_06_06. Do I have the wrong firmware or is the hardware not yet supported?

mesh RF address clash

Forums:

I have a Mikrotik hAP and a GL-iNet AR750 that have a 'mesh RF address' clash.
These devices do not play well when on the same network.
How can I get them both to work on the same network at the same time?

Unable to bring up GL-iNet web interface after loading AREDN firmware

Forums:
I have a GL-iNet AR300M16-ext. I previously was able to load AREDN firmware and set up my node, but I mistakenly tried to update the AREDN mesh firmware and bricked it. I was able to unbrick it following the Uboot debrick instructions (https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/en/3/tutorials/debrick/), and reinstall the AREDN firmware. But now I can't get the web interface to load. I have the GL-iNet router connected but I can't access the AREDN web interface via 192.168.8.1, 192.168.1.1 or localnode.local.mesh.

Mikrotik LHG5AC XL new install procedure failure

Forums:

The ARDEN procedure to new install on a Mikrotik LHG5AC XL with v6.48.6 firmware requires downgrading to v4.45.8. The linked OpenWRT downgrade procedure states that OpenWRT newer than v6.46 must be downgraded to v4.45.8. The procedure provided does not work because on reboot the log file states that v6.45.8 cannot be installed because it is newer than the "factory version of v6.48.6". I upgraded to v6.48.7 to verify the procedure works when newer than v6.48.6. Mikrotik states that downgrading below the factory version is blocked because the hardware doesn't support it.

TP-Link CPE210 setup issue

Forums:

I just purchased two CPE210 nodes from Amazon and proceeded to set them up via the Pharos software. All went well until the AREDN install rebooted. Now I cannot connect to either node using the 192.168.1.1 ip. I can ping it and get 100 percent return. I am using a HP Pavilion g6 laptop running Windows 10. I cannot reach the node using MS Edge so I loaded Chrome and now I seem to reach the node but it will not allow connection. Any help would be most appreciated. TNX es 73, Dave K8HMF

Mikrotik LHG 5 won't keep config

Forums:
I’m trying to upgrade a Mikrotik LHG 5 firmware to AREDN.  I set the System / RouterBoard Boot Device to Try-Ethernet-Once-Then-Nand.  Protected Routerboot is unchecked.  I go through the process of upgrading with TinyPXE and reboot.  Once the device reboots it still has the Mikrotik firmware.  The IP is still 192.168.88.1.  Boot Device is back to Nand-If-fail-then-ethernet.

If I set the LHG back to Try-Ethernet-Once-Then-Nand, apply the change and just reboot it goes back to nand-if -fail-then-ethernet.  Any ideas?
