I have a home mesh equipment set up that I'm pretty happy with. It needs to be physically cleaned up a bit, which I'll do as soon as some new cases arrive for the microcomputers.

I have a MikroTik LHG XK dish that I am attempting to flash.

I use Macs or Raspberry Pi HW and have been ok with TP-Link and Ubiquiti.

I followed the Linux procedure to step 5 but the Mac OS does not seem to support dnsmasq.

I tried using the latest Raspian but my Linux is weak and I could not get a static IP of 192.186.1.10.

I guess my question is whether anyone has been successful getting a fresh load of AREDN SW via a Mac?  Seems like this should be doable via a Mac but don't see much posting related to the Mac.

Hi, everyone,

I've been asked this and I'm 99% sure I know the answer but I want to confirm. On the Ubiquiti Rocket M2 (and M5) and other devices with two antenna ports (like the TP-Link WBS-series), are both antennas capable of sending and receiving data at the same time? In other words, can both antennas be pointed in different directions or is there a benefit to pointing them in the same direction?

AirRouter AR (and HP) DC Power options

I have evaluated the AirRouter AR DC power requirements finding that it consumes about .48A at 5 volts.  I haven't yet analyzed what it will do if I lower the power.  I know that changing the power levels on a Linksys WRT54G didn't seem to make much difference.

My question is if anyone has attempted to see if the AirRouter AR can accept power and run from being injected into the USB port?

Same question would go for the AirRouter HP if it works on the AR.  Usually everything internal to these units (and the Nanostations) actually "run" on 3.3 volts internally.

Dont know what has changed in the newest nightly build but gl-ar150 node no longer sees  my netgear switch. but it does work. also no activity seen on node lights

Hi everyone,
Hope this is where I post this? :-}
Two other people as well as myself have googled and looked everywhere (including this site) on the internet for a confirmation of what firmware this NanoStation M2 US is supposed to work with.
"Loco" is not marked on the box or on any labels inside or out. I opened the unit and I do not see an XM or XW on any chip sets unless it is under the RF shield.
On the flat antenna panel inside is etched:

GL-AR150 and USB Tethering

I have a GL-AR150 running the latest 3.20.3.0. When I try to USB tether to my Iphone it doesnt work. I dont even get the trust popup on my phone. I see that my phone charges. Anyone doing this with any luck? I was hoping to tunnel back to my main Mesh node. Looking to use this for MESH demo's and when I work remote.

I am looking for a link to a hardware spreadsheet that the AREDN team built. I thought I saved it but can't find it. It helps to break down all the different devices and their strength and weaknesses.

Hello,
no power out of port 5 after flashing the hAP ac lite with AREDN .5-v3.
Is there some setting I missed?
