Help with Portable Internet Mesh Node build

Forums:

I'm attempting to build the Portable Internet Mesh Node found on Trevor's (K7FPV) blog and have hit some roadblocks on the Network config. page of the airGateway. (see picture at the bottom of post) Thanks for any help you can provide.

WAN Network Settings:

Need VLAN Help

Being a newby (or noob) to VLANs, I'm looking to set up the network shown in the picture below while using the VLAN configuration recommended on the forum. After much research, I still have quite a few questions:

Setting up an EdgeRouter X for AREDN use

I put together tho following instructions to configure a Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X for AREDN typical deployment.  Would appreciate others helping to proof read and validate these instructions.  Any EdgeRouter's out there?

MikroTik LHG2 / LHG2XL

Forums:
Any thought on these devices, and if they'd work with AREDN? They'd provide an excellent alternative to the PowerBeam, potentially at a lower price.

Internally, both devices are the same and are supported by OpenWRT. Both use the QCA9533 chipset, used in the (supported!) TP-Link CPE 210, but the LHG2's have twice the storage flash.

NS M5/M2 XW Ethernet port usage

Forums:
Good news!  Thanks to the work Andrew KK4ZUZ was doing on tplink hardware support, this shed new light on configuration of the NS M5/M2 XW devices.  I'm now running my NSM5 XW configured with both Ethernet ports fully functional with LAN, DtDlink, and WAN configurations.  This device has always been painful with a different behavior than all the other aredn devices, but no longer.

Thanks to Darryl K5DLQ adding the advanced settings page with POE passthrough option,  I am also powering an ipCam on the secondary port and able to communicate to it on the node's LAN.

I have just got a MikroTik LHG 5 and I am looking for flashing instructions for windows. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Can not connect wifi to New TP-link 210 nodes

Forums:
Two brand newly configured 210v2 nodes see and play nice with each other.

Computer connected to switch can access either unit. Computer trying wifi connect gets: Can Not Connect to this Network.

What did I do wrong? It has to be a simple error.

Trouble with TFTP to Rocket M2

Forums:
I'm a newby, so I'm probably just doing something wrong. I have a Rocket M2 XW and I'm trying to push a new install of aredn, but can't seem to get it to take it. I was using the Windows 10 TFTP, but the syntax seems to be different than what is described here and I wasn't sure I had it correct. I could either get the Rocket to lock up or it wouldn't respond at all. I downloaded PumpKIN which I saw reccomended on a UBNT thread and it gives an error "Firmware Check Failed" and then the rocket returns to the ready for firmware state where the lights flash back and forth.

GS105e v2 typical install

Confused by all the choices.  I want to link the internet, my Ubiquiti Nano node and a Win 10 laptop.  Netgear Prosafe GS105e v2 what would be a typical install.
