New RMS EXPRESS 1.3.6.0

RMS Express version 1.3.6.0 has been released.  You can get the update using
the normal autoupdate procedure.

Changes since version 1.3.5.0:

* Temporarily disable registering new callsigns with the Winlink system.

* Make sure all execution threads are stopped before stopping the program.

* If a recommended HF propagation update is declined, wait two hours before
prompting for it again.

* Allow the Contacts Import function to import mail server names with
contacts.

Required PC for Mesh Winlink

What are the recommended PC characteristics to run the Winlink post office for a mesh network?
I assume it should run all the time and be on a UPS, and it should not be a weakling.  
But what speed, how much storage etc?  I know this depends on the usage, but we are just starting out
and need something to start with that is at least adequate.

We just wrapped up a communications exercise with the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency last week utilizing Winlink RMS Relay Post Office on a MESH system setup onsite.  We were able to place messages on the Post Office and retrieve them from multiple stations set up at the exercise site in order to facilitate message flow between our dedicated HF/VHF/UHF stations and the command vehicle.  We set up an Area Command structure and relayed messages from 5 sites throughout the state.

I'm trying to set up my first Sync with another station.  We are able to connect to each other, but then it dies.

destination changes to don' know

Suddenly now when I send a message (P2P or PO), the recipient callsign gets changed to DONTKNOW.  This shows in the outbox before it even gets sent, so it
must be a local issue in my rms express program.   Suggestions?   I am giving a big presentation wed eve so I need to fix this soon.

Just discovered that happens only when I send to a specific callsign. All others work ok.  ???

I need some assistance in setting up Winlink on a mesh network that does not have internet access. I browsed the Winlink website with no luck to resolving my issue.

Kenwood TM-D710G and Winlink

I am working to get our Winlink up and running for our SkyWarn office.  Am looking at the Kenwood TM-D710G with it's built in TNC.  So far cannot find any definitive evidence of anyone actually using this radio for winlink.  Can anyone please confirm that the 710 will work with Winlink and Airmail?  It would appear that just connecting the cable from the head unit to PC via the PG-5G cable and serial adapter is all that is needed.  Is the extra cable that comes with the PG-5H necessary for Winlink/Airmail?
