Trouble POE port 5 from MikroTik HAP ac Lite do not power on Powerbeam M5

Forums:

Hi everyone,
New to AREDN I just bought a "MikroTik HAP ac Lite" router and a Ubiquiti Powerbeam M5-300.
The router is flashed with firmware AREDN 3.23.8.0. The antenna is not AREDN flashed, just updated to the latest Ubiquiti firmware (XW.v6.3.11 Build Number: 33396)
With the POE adaptator included, the M5 power on
But if I connect the M5 to the port 5 "POE Out" of the router, it does not power on (no LED on).
I've tryed with router

No access to MikroTik WLAN-Bridge SXTsq Lite5 after firmware upgrade

Forums:
I have two MikroTik WLAN-Bridge SXTsq5nd Lite5.

I was able to upgrade one device with the firmware. I did the same with the second device (several times), but in the end I still can't access it with "localnode.local.mesh:8080".

Here are the steps I took:
Device: SXTsq5nd Lite5
Firmware: aredn-3.23.12.0-ath79-mikrotik-mikrotik_routerboard-sxt-5nd-initramfs-kernel.bin
Rename this to "rb.elf" and upload with "pxesrv.exe".

Replacement Ubiquiti 620mm dish feed horn? Or switch to Mikrotik LHG?

Forums:
The feed horn for my 620mm Ubiquiti dish broke and I'm having a hard time finding a replacement. It's intended to go on a municipal tower so I'm looking for something very robust. Should I keep looking for a replacement feed horn? Switch to a 500mm dish? Or switch to the large Mikrotik LHG?

Ubiquiti AM-5G19-120 Sector with Rocket R5AC-LITE

Forums:
Does anyone know if a  Ubuqiiti airMAX 5 GHz, 19/20 dBi Sector Antenna AM-5G19-120 will work with a newer Rocket AC Lite R5AC-LITE.? Will the R5AC-LITE slide into the bracket on the back of the sector antenna?  Assume the antenna SMA lines will be the same.
Thanks

MikroTik RB911G-5HPnD-QRT

Forums:

Hi

This is my first post on the forum and I hope this has not been covered before.

I have a MikroTik RB911G-5HPnD-QRT antenna that was left attached to my home after I switched to a different ISP about 2 years ago. I had the antenna sitting in a box and thought I would try and install the AREDN firmware on it. I see the antenna is listed in the supported devices.

GL-AR300M & Direct TV 18" disc antenna

Forums:
Last month I decided to combine a GL-AR300M and and old 18" round Direct TV dish antenna. The 300M is temporarily mounted on wood slid into the hollow arm below the dish where the LNB was mounted. Initial tests here at home proved that it does work. I'm still playing with the best focal point position for the AR300M. Yesterday I tested the system in my truck with all DC power using the laptop USB port to power the AR300M and a 12v adapter for the laptop. The dish is mounted on short aluminum 1.5" tubing with a plywood base to make it stable and adjustable for aiming.

ubiquiti Rocket R5ac lite firmware

Forums:
I have been trying to flash the firmware to a R5 ac lite. I was using the tftpD64 with the downloaded firmware for the Rocket R5ac   lite. It sat that it loaded but when I go to the browser in dhcp I cant get the aredn page to load. I went in to the default ubuquiti page to see the firmware that was on the router to begin with and it was 7.03 do I have to get it to another version before changing to aredn?

2.4ghz Omni that won't break the bank?

Forums:
Anybody got suggestions on a 2.4 mimo omni antenna that won't wipe out my bank account? I was using the Altelix brand but seems they are going out of the antenna business. KP Preformance seems to be really proud of their antennas. The Ubiquiti Omni AirMax 2G13 (AMO-2G13) seems ok but looks like the supplied cables are too short for the Mikrotik BaseBox2. Suggestions appreciated.
