GL-iNET ModelGL-SFT1200 Travel Router

Forums:
I saw a posting for the GL-iNET GL-SFT1200 Travel Router that said it is compatible with AREDN. However I do not find any AREDN Firmware for it.  Has anyone tried to load any version of AREDN Firmware into it?  Not a big deal if won't work.

GL.iNet GL-AR300M16-Ext Flash Change

Forums:
I was doing an initial install on a new AR300M16 today.  It appears there may be a new/different built-in firmware than what is described in the main AREDN Install Docs.

Rocket 5AC - eth0 and bridges keep going up and down

Forums:
The node isn't resetting nor restarting.

This is causing horrible Babel metrics (4097) and OLSR route flapping.

Syslog reports as attached (also, support file is attached)

This has been happening for a while and the node has been pretty much up to date with nightlies. The attached files represent Nightly 20250713-9206ddc7.

Not sure if this should end up on Github as this appears to be a one off.

900MHz HaLow antenna suggestions

Forums:
A couple of us in Albuquerque who provide IT support to one of the local Allstarlink connected repeater networks are thinking about using 900MHz HaLow routers to connect to our hub from our homes. Right now we can get in through the internet, but that link goes down occasionally. The majority of the system still operates without internet, but we can't do any management. Suggestion for 900MHz HaLow antenna? thanks diana aka Liz KI5PGJ

Harsh weather durable equipment

Forums:
I would like to find equipment that can with stand strong winds and sub zero temps. This would be on a 9000 ft ridge. It does have commercial power and internet available

WAN Client Setting

Forums:
I have some airrouters that we use only for field day logging and am trying to get one of the AR to be a WAN client and use the local wifi for internet access (ntp time mostly), but I've tried two different locations with different brand 2.4GHz wifi APs and the node will not connect to either of them.
I know the SSID and password are correct, and if I scan local wifi, the RSSI is -50dB or better, and the SNR is at least 35dB.

Nodes are at 3.25.2 firmware (the .5 and .5.1 versions don't play well with this old hardware)

Tube AHM 900MHz Flashing Problem

Forums:
Tried flashing two 900MHz Tube AHM devices. One worked fine. The other doesn't respond to 192.168.1.1 after flashing. I think I forgot to uncheck save settings, which may be the problem. The indicator lights are flashing just like to good one, but no response otherwise. Any thoughts on getting into it?
Many thanks,

TP-Link Archer AX50 Software

Forums:
I have a spare TP-Link Archer AX50. It was returned from a repair that took too long, so I bought a new one.

Is there a firmware build that works with this device?

Mixing New & Old Firmware

Forums:
I discovered that my new LiteBeam AC with 3.25.2 firmware will NOT connect to another node running anything older than 3.18.9. Not by rf or dtd. The nodes appear on the mesh list but won't connect. Our mesh of 10 nodes is mostly legacy nodes but a few run 3.18.9 and 3.20.x which connect just fine. Luckily I found that 3.18.9 WILL work on the 32 Mb memory nodes, but I think I would be pushing my luck running anything newer (larger). We have a couple Rockets (64Mb) that have 3.20.x already. Hopefully this discovery will help someone who may be in the same situation.
