Yuma Hamfest 2017

I will once again be attending the Yuma Hamfest along with my friends of the Amateur Radio Tower Trailer Team.

Mesh will again be apart of the demo operations planned from the trailer station so please feel free to come by and talk a bit about MESH or anything else Amateur Radio (or just to operate the HF station, we won't take it personally if that's the only reason you say hello)

Advice and Guidance needed for mesh network between Ajo, Why and other places.

Looking for advice and guidance on setting up a mesh network between Ajo and Why (120 miles west of Tucson).  Have access to a high spot near Ajo with a clear 18 mile shot to Why. Can't get into site details here as quite "political" but very good clear shot. Also very good potential for a link north to Gila Bend.

Would be fun (in the distant future) to work out a shot from Ajo to Tucson. Long distance though (about 130 miles from hill in Ajo to Mt.Lemon) across the T'O Nation. I don't know of any ham activity on the Nation but perhaps we could stir things up.

A Great Start in the East Valley

Forums:
Hello all,

We have made a great start learning and experimenting with mesh in the East Valley of the Phoenix area. Many nodes are up in the Mesa area and we have even linked up with some in Queen Creek and Scottsdale.

Thank you AREDN for all of your help and setting us up with a forum.

Hello

I'm relatively new to mesh networks.  I am in Glendale near arrowhead mall and arrowhead hospital.

Where could I find a list of equipment that would be compatible with aredn?
