Hello,
I have TP-Link CPE210 v1.1 runing Firmware version: develop-134-64eb08bd
I'm trying to configure this node with 2.397 GHz (Channel -2) and Channel Width 5MHz. However, the channel is not available from the setup page so I tried to configure it from the ssh but it did not work.
root@******:~# iwinfo wlan0 freqlist
2.397 GHz (Channel -2)
2.402 GHz (Channel -1)

Try saving once and then log in again after it reboots and I believe you should have channel -2 support.
And then submit a support data file as well since this seems indicative that it's not picking up the device correctly.
In addition all this probably relates to this ticket and the data would be best submitted here [LINK REMOVED]
I was able to acquire two of these v.1.1 routers online for cheap I was wondering if any progress has been made on getting them to work?
From what I can see a concern was raised by a reporter but they never responded back to questions. Could be just an issue they are experiencing or an issue everyone is experiencing but without users providing feedback in the ticket progress stalls out.
Which firmware file are you trying to load? 3.16.1.0 or a nightly build from 136 or higher?
(TPLink v1.1 support was added in nightly build 136 as shown here [LINK REMOVED]
BTW, GM4WZG reported about 5 weeks ago that build 136 loaded successfully for him in the ticket: [LINK REMOVED]
If it (build 136+) is not loading for you, that would be good to comment on in the ticket.
Thanks and good luck!
Darryl
Ultimately device support depends on the users providing feedback, no feedback, no progress, that simple.
