TP-Link CPE210 v1.1
Hello,

I have TP-Link CPE210 v1.1 runing Firmware version: develop-134-64eb08bd
I'm trying to configure this node with 2.397 GHz (Channel -2) and Channel Width 5MHz. However, the channel is not available from the setup page so I tried to configure it from the ssh but it did not work.

root@******:~# iwinfo wlan0 freqlist
  2.397 GHz (Channel -2)
  2.402 GHz (Channel -1)
* 2.412 GHz (Channel 1)
  2.417 GHz (Channel 2)
  2.422 GHz (Channel 3)
  2.427 GHz (Channel 4)
  2.432 GHz (Channel 5)
  2.437 GHz (Channel 6)
  2.442 GHz (Channel 7)
  2.447 GHz (Channel 8)
  2.452 GHz (Channel 9)
  2.457 GHz (Channel 10)
  2.462 GHz (Channel 11)
  2.467 GHz (Channel 12)
  2.472 GHz (Channel 13)
  2.484 GHz (Channel 14)

Try saving once and then log

Try saving once and then log in again after it reboots and I believe you should have channel -2 support.

And then submit a support data file as well since this seems indicative that it's not picking up the device correctly.

In addition all this probably relates to this ticket and the data would be best submitted here [LINK REMOVED]

I tried every possible
I tried every possible solution with no luck. I uploaded the data file in the ticket as well.

Has there been any progress
Hello,

I was able to acquire two of these v.1.1 routers online for cheap I was wondering if any progress has been made on getting them to work?

Ticket will hold all the data
Ticket will hold all the data and be the best place to look as it could change by the next time this post gets read.

From what I can see a concern was raised by a reporter but they never responded back to questions. Could be just an issue they are experiencing or an issue everyone is experiencing but without users providing feedback in the ticket progress stalls out.

not sure how to raise a ticket
the problem I am having is when I am uploading the Aredn Firmware, to the TP-link i get an error saying the hardware is not supported.

Which firmware file are you

Which firmware file are you trying to load?  3.16.1.0 or a nightly build from 136 or higher?
(TPLink v1.1 support was added in nightly build 136 as shown here [LINK REMOVED]

BTW, GM4WZG reported about 5 weeks ago that build 136 loaded successfully for him in the ticket: [LINK REMOVED]
If it (build 136+) is not loading for you, that would be good to comment on in the ticket.

Thanks and good luck!

And another user reported
And another user reported later that it was unusable slow which is the current blocker preventing this from moving forward and requires someone to comment otherwise in the ticket before this device can even be considered moving forward for support.

Ultimately device support depends on the users providing feedback, no feedback, no progress, that simple.

will try and install then get back to you
I will try to install the firmware provided and let you know if I have any issues. Thank you for your time.

Using 3.16.1.0
I am not using the nightly build because I can't seem to find the link to the download.
