GL-usb150 failure
My GL-usb150 microuter used to work. Now it cannot be accessed. The manual refers to a reset button, but there is no reset button.
How can I fix this?

If this is after a firmware
If this is after a firmware update, I routinely need to power cycle my USB-150 to bring it back up.

GL USB150 reset button
Hi, Bob:

The reset button is internal and behind a pin-hole access.

Thanks Chuck. That apparently
Thanks Chuck. That apparently worked because the lights blinked after I reset it. But I still cannot log into it.
Is there a URL that always works?

Hi, Bob:

"But I still cannot log into it."
That is too vague.

"Is there a URL that always works?"

Is your workstation obtaining an IP address from the USB150?
Can you 'ping' the USB150?
Does your web browser get a web page from http://localnode.local.mesh?
Is it rejecting your login attempt?

The workstation does not get
The workstation does not get an ip address from the USB150.
I cannot ping the usb150 because I do not know its address.
The browser does not get a web page.
The GSB rejects any login attempt I have tried.

Hi, Bob:

Go no further using a web browser if your device does not present an IP address to your workstation.
Have you tried to use the USB150 with a different computer?
Does your computer recognize that a USB device was inserted?

https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/en/2/troubleshooting/reset/
If the 3 second reset does not work, try the 10 second reset.
If that works, your can return to the instructions for 1st time installation:
https://docs.arednmesh.org/en/latest/arednGettingStarted/installing_firm...

If that does not work, try the Uboot method.

I did the10 sec reset. No change from the 3 sec reset. What URL should I be trying?
Tried a different computer; same results.

Does your computer recognize
Does your computer recognize an additional ethernet adapter? If so, is it able to obtain an IP on that adapter? If it does, try http://localnode.local.mesh.
If it doesn't obtain an IP, you may have to set an appropriate one for the UBoot process. Keep in mind AREDN IS an OpenWRT distribution for the purposes of any of the instructions... https://openwrt.org/toh/gl.inet/gl-usb150

If your computer doesn't recognize an additional ethernet adapter, unfortunately, you may have a very light brick in your hands.

If the long reset put back to
If the long reset put back to being a "normal" non-AREDN USB-150, the default IP address should be 192.168.8.1
If the computer recognizes that there is an Ethernet interface connected after you plug in the USB-150, try setting your computer to something on that subnet (192.168.8.2 for example) for that interface.  Then see if you can reach the USB-150 on the 192.168.8.1 address.
If that does not work, if you have a packet analysis program on your computer (WireShark for example), see if that shows any IP traffic on the USB-150 interface.  If it does, what is the IP address shown as a source?

Part 1:  If you are willing
Part 1:  If you are willing to mail it to me, I am willing to beat on it and see if I (and some high power help) can recover it.
Part 2:  If you really just want to replace it, I would be willing to sell you mine.  I seldome use it and have other ways to get portable AREDN.

Lets do both.  How much do

Old settings.

There's been previous threads where the GL-USB150 had odd ip addresses, 192.168.8.1 and no DHCP.
