Build 283 VLAN issue?

I applied the latest nightly release this morning to a test node and it lost all DtD links.

Comparing two NSM5 XWs, both with Ethernet cable plugged into the Secondary Port.
This one is working, running Nightly Build 221:

Here's another NSM5, which was working on Nightly Build 277 until this morning.   Upon upgrading it to 283, I get this:

root@W6BI-VC-SimiNorth-5G:/etc# swconfig dev ag71xx-mdio.0 show
Global attributes:
        enable_vlan: 0
        enable_mirror_rx: 0

Port 5:

Not sure why VLANs weren't enabled.  I enabled them manually, but I know there's more to be done and I'm at the limits of my knowledge.
I'll attach a Support Data file from the offending node.

check cat5
Orv,  double check the cat5 cable.   The dtdlink interface shows "down" state and configuration looks OK -- interface has correct IP address, etc.   Bad cable?  loose connection?     I loaded build 283 on my NS M5 XW and communicating over dtdlink, not able to reproduce.

Will check
Thanks for the feedback, Joe.  I'll go to the site this weekend and check it.   Fortunately it's only 10 minutes away.

AREDN-283 Vlan & Upgrades

I am currently upgrading a number of our sites with 283.  The only VLAN issues I'm seeing so far have to do with a switch that is NOT Vlan capable and possibly an AirRouter that has not yet been upgraded to 283.  Usually an extra reboot or two on both sides fixes the issue. (Possible OLSR glitches between old and new??)  At any rate, try some reboots and see what happens.  I am experiencing one name resolution issue between an NSM5XW and an older Nanobridge M5 (gives IP addy only with no name) - but yet again, there is an AirRouter with Dev-176 firmware involved that I have yet to upgrade.  Otherwise, 283 seems to be doing pretty good.
