nanobridge - frequency range

Have three nanobridge units. All three converted successfully. One with xm v5.3 has expected freq./chan range from 5650 to 5925.

The other two were xm v5.2  Say:" untested hardware report experience". They have a freq range choice from 5180 to 5485 They work as expected as a two station mesh network.

Looking at sysinfo both the v5.3 and v5.2 have identical reports. Can the two v5.2 be brought up to the freq range of the v5.3? Do I need to "report" this some place else? Thanks for any help.

Can you attach a support file
Can you attach a support file attachment for each of the nodes here?   (on the node, go to the bottom of the Admin page).
Attach below here where it says "Support File Attachment".

I hope anyway - 11 and 12 are problem children

I have had a few of the older NB M5 units report this. After Mr. Ouinn gets the report he will be able to help you. i had to modify, and add a build number to a file to make mine work..

Could this be an older device
Could this be an older device,  now hitting the resell market as upgrades occur, that we have not bumped into yet?     If so, we'd like to capture the "board info" and AirOS "board ID" to ensure the configuration settings are correct for this device.  Then we can put into AREDN firmware so everyone benefits.    The older versions of AirOS suggest this is the case.    If so, did you get a good price?

Here's a link of how to capture the information we'd need:

W5OXC,  it was buried in the post, but these are commands that have to be done under AirOS.   You'd have to tftp upload AirOS first -- sorry a hassle.   There's a link in the install instructions on this website for the AirOS XM v.5.5.x version to remain compatible with 3.16.1.x AREDN -- able to upload in the AirOS UI to get back.

same issue
I had the same issue as W5OXC.  Last night I flashed 3 NanoBridge M5 units I recently purchased used.  I remember seeing at least one of them came with AirOS 6.0.x.  I think one of them was version 5.6.  I have gotten used to needing to downgrade everything to 5.5, so I have not been writing down or noticing the AirOS version when I start.  I flashed all 3 with version 5.5.
Two of them flashed to AREDN 3.16.1.1 just fine and they are usable.  However, one of them comes up with the banner of "Untested Hardware".  Instead of channels, this one shows frequencies from 5.180 to 5.485 GHz.
What can I do about this one?

Gary, this might be the one
Gary, this might be the one with a typo in the config files.  This is fixed in the nightly build #176.  Alternatively, see the fix and directly edit on the node:

I did not find the file data
I thought I would try editing the file, but cannot.  I got into the device, OK.  But the file data shown in the Changeset is not the same as my file.
My file does not have a section for 0xe235.  The section for the NBM5 is at 0xe2b5.  That section already shows the rfband set to '5800ubntus'.  So I do not have anything to change.
So I don't think changing this file is the fix for my issue.  Anything else to try?

Gary,  you could edit the 0xe2b5 to make it look like this below (just edit or change the device id).     The device can then find the settings for itself.
