Any chance there is some firmware under development for the AC 2.4 and 5 GHz Ubiquiti equipment? I've got an NBE-5AC-16 on-hand that I'd like to put to work and there is actually some AC gear in stock.

Have a look at the latest nightly builds to see what AC devices are now supported.
I appreciate the lead. I looked and I do see a NanoBeam 5 AC listed, I loaded the ...factory.bin and then the ...sysupgrade.bin and got the web-GUI to load, but there is a banner at the top that says UNSUPPORTED DEVICE and when I try to save the basic setup information it posts a page that says; "BAD GATEWAY, The process did not produce any response."
Model is NBE-5AC-16 - - maybe its a non-compatible version.
If anyone has any advice I'm all ears. Thanks!
Try uploading the support data so the devs can have a look at it.
I'm not sure where to find that. Is it on the device itself?

Navigate to the 'Administration' page.

After downloading nightly build aredn-2096-fce9629-ath79-generic-ubnt_rocket-5ac-lite-squashfs-factory, my new rocket R5ac-lite gave me a TFTP:2: Firmware check failed. Is there somthing im missing?
Eric
Eric, the installation procedure has changed substantially for Ubiquiti AC devices. It doesn't use TFTP anymore. Check the latest AREDN docs for the new procedure.
