Hello. I just joined this group and getting my feet wet. The Wood County Amateur Radio Club K8TIH in Bowling Green, OH. is just getting started building an AREDN Mesh system. I'm just testing this forum. Thank you.
Bob

Is there a process to add new active nodes to the map?

I can find no access to the setup data. I have a mANTBox 2 12S with Meshchat-581 at 55' beamed into Bowling Green, OH. with a standalone Linux PC without internet access. Our club did a successful test months ago into Bowling Green using several go-box portable systems. Those temporary go-box systems are being upgraded by their users with cameras and other options and hopefully we will try another test session in a few weeks when they are ready.
I would like at some point add a voip phone but so far have not been able to understand what is required and how to make it happen. There seems to be a lot of information out there, but not much of it is directed at the beginning user with simple explanations of how these devices and software/firmware work together. I have watched several videos about FREEPBX installs and the installation process makes no sense without an explanation of why.

"I can find no access to the setup data."
Set the web browser on your PC to address:

Also, I suggest starting a new thread with a more relative topic than 'New Member'.

"I would like at some point add a voip phone..."

"There are 40+ threads in this forum dealing with each of:
'PBX', 'FreePBX', 'Phones', 'VoIP', 'RasPBX'."
Those posts may be better related to an AREDN and VoIP implementation.

I suggest that you search this forum for information on 'adding a VoIP phone'.
To use your PC and a VoIP phone at the same time...
You may need add an ethernet switch or an IP phone with a built-in ethernet switch
such as a Grandstream GXP-1630.

Also, I suggest starting a new thread with a more relative topic than 'New Member'.
