Hello to the group,
I am working to set up a tunnel client on a Ubiquity M2 we just installed. The firmware version is 3.20.3.1
When I navigate to install the tunnel client package here
Tunnel software needs to be installed.
It gives me the following message
ERROR: Insuffient free disk space! |
Tunnel software needs to be installed. |
When I navigate back to check the memory this is what it lists
flash = 504 KB /tmp = 29768 KB memory = 44552 KB |
Any help in this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi, Andy:
By virtue of your 'memory' value, your M2 appears to be a 64 MB device. That is good.
I am baffled by the insufficient disk space message.
Try to do the tunnel firmware install as soon as practical after a reboot.
The device must have internet access to d/l the tunnel firmware.
Although, I would assume that if you are installing a tunnel client, your device would already have internet access via a VLAN switch. :-|
Here is an image of my M2-XW's 'free space' values.
My tunnel server has 10 clients configured; 6 clients active and 4 'standby'.
Hope this helps. Chuck

I tried Chucks recommendation of doing the tunnel client install right after a reboot with no joy. To follow up with your comment I have not tried to install any other services on this device. Its only a couple months old straight out of the box.
What is the next play?

Boy I dropped the ball on this one. Below is the attached file as requested.
Thank you,
I did a firmware upgrade on the device. Once that was done the new tunnel client downloaded like butter!
One more item off the list!
