5655 MHz channel 131 at 10 MHz bandwidth?
Power output seems to reduce above channel 175 (5875 MHz).
It would be nice to have 5655 MHz channel 131 at 10 MHz bandwidth available.

Chuck,   I would expect the
Chuck,   I would expect the hardware filtering to tapper off in the higher 5Ghz channels.  Possibly different between models and/or manufactures.   Which device?

Ken KE2N measured the power response curve on a Rocket M3 device, and we see the power is reduced on the upper channels:

This measurement hasn't yet occurred with an M5.   Anyone have a failed Rocket M5 to send KE2N to rip out the filter?  Rockets are widely used and pulling the data would benefit many.

Best to add the channel 131@10Mhz enhancement request to:   https://github.com/aredn/aredn_ar71xx/issues

5 GHz SNR vs Channel on SXTsq-5 and LHG-5HP

The values are one reading...not several readings averaged.
Still, there is at least a 10 dB difference between channel 184 and 131.

The decrease in power above
The decrease in power above ch 165 is expected.   These channels are above the support vendor advertised range and there will be a physical band pass filter on the device.   The Rocket 3GHz device has been measured and demonstrates the same -- the filter was ripped out of the circuit board and measured on the bench -- data posted elsewhere on this site.    While this measure includes environmental and possible interfering signal splatter, it looks to be in the ballpark of what we'd expect.

Backyard test about 65' apart.
Well, well.

Channel 131 at 10 MHz BW

Hi, Joe:

Tested on my property on Nanostation M5, SXTsq HP5nD, LHG HP5nD (2), and working. :-)

I have a remote LHG/SXT PtP link spanning 6.2 miles to test next.

Here is the support data for the 6.2 mile PtP link on channel 131.

After ch131@10, I tried channel 132@20
This link pair is kinda lopsided.
A LHG HP5nD (small dish, high power) to a SXTsq 5nD (lower power).
SNR 34 .vs. 27 dB
The dish's TxMbps is 144.4 via this 6.2 mile link.
:-)
