Which OS for MESH Apps?

Hi,
Is there a preferred OS to host MESH Apps and system interface?
Team Talk
Citadel
FTP
CAD
etc
I have windows and Linux Apps for each.

I have an RPI 3B attached now (4gig uSD card now) to interface with IP phones and routers, and a micro sized x86 PC on the way.

It really depends on what the

It really depends on what the application supports for an OS distribution. Generally you will find that Debian and its derivatives able to support most any application. You will probably find a bit more support out there for Debian also. If you are going to limit yourself to Raspberry Pis, then Rapserian/Raspberry Pi OS is probably going to be your best bet.

I think a Linux box will work. I will have to explore the RPi solution with a couple more purchases and/or get a larger uSD card for my RPi 3B.
