Hello, all...
I am not new to AREDN, but I have a very specific question that I would like to get some help with.
I am looking for hardware to use for a simple node that I can use at home to tunnel into a mesh island with some other users.
I don't need RF at all for that node, and I want that node to trunk all traffic (WAN, DtD, and Lan) on one Ethernet port, like the ubiquiti nano Stattion. but the nano Station is probably an overkill for my need, and is priced for its RF capabilities that I won't need anyway.
I like the form factor and the price of the "GL-MT1300", but given that it has multiple ethernet ports, I am not sure if it has the wan and lan on different ports or they are trunked.
I understand that AREDN supports a wide range of devices, and I am asking if someone knows of a device that fits this criteria:
- Trunked Lan/Wan/DtD on one port
- Can run Tunnel software
- Price is less than $40
- hopefully, small form factor
Thanks in advance,

You can select any number of router devices for tunneling to AREDN neighbors. Just make sure that the device you pick is on the AREDN Supported Hardware list. The most popular are the Mikrotik hAP family. Spend a few extra bucks and get the hAP ac2 if going that way.
Less than $40 will be a challenge, but you do not need separate WAN and LAN ports. The Ubiquity Networks NanoStation and NanoLoco and Rocket radios have only PoE port.

Hope this helps, Chuck
You sure about that model? My AR-750 has three separate ports.
Primarily used as field portale device - mostly for tunneling home.
Works great.
I think I missed a comma. Will edit #3.
al0y, in part, stated:
"Trunked Lan/Wan/DtD on one port"
I can do this on my VLAN switches, but not my AR150/300/750.
Yes, My AR750 has
WAN only on 1 port,
LAN only on another port,
DtD only on another port.
I do not know how to put LAN/WAN/DtD on the same port on my
AR750 or AR300M16 or AR150.
