Verdugo Peak
Can anyone confirm that the Verdugo Peak nodes are still up? I often check the website below and it's not currently showing anything up on Verdugo. https://mapping.kg6wxc.net/meshmap/map_display.php#11/34.0950/-118.3732

Verdugo Peak Repair
They are not.  They've been down for several weeks due to a switch failure at the site.  The replacement switch has been received and we hope to go to the site on 7/31 to effect repairs (fingers crossed)...

Thanks for the update and your efforts in getting the node operational. The Verdugo Peak node is a great resource and I'll look forward to having it back up.

VP Repair
I've verified that today is repair day for Verdugo Peak.   I won't be going (covid restrictions), but I expect if all goes well the site should come back online before noon Pacific.

VP Repair - postponed.

So, Mike K6MJU had his car all packed and ready to leave for Verdugo Peak - then got called in to work.  Rescheduled for next Friday, 8/7

Well, it didn't go well at all.  But for now Randy, you should be able to see K6PVR-VC-Sulphur-S-Sector-5G on channel 172 with 10 MHz bandwidth.  It's currently isolated from the rest of the network.  That will have be be dealt with during a follow-on troubleshooting session.

Only the K6PVR-LA-Verdugo-S-Sector-5G is working.
Only the K6PVR-LA-Verdugo-S-Sector-5G is working.  It does have connectivity to the rest of the network by way of my work node in Glendale.  I don't know how far west it will see however.

Thanks
Thanks to all involved for working towards getting this up and running. Just curious, do the Verdugo nodes have backup power?

More on Verdugo Peak
There's a very large battery stack there, and the inverter that powers the big Ubiquiti switch that drives the network gear is on that.

More investigation is called for, but it appears the site may have suffered a significant failure of some sort - seven of eight Ubiquiti radios at the site are now unresponsive, even after switching the Ubiquiti switch out.

All of the analog repeaters at the site are operational, as are the repeater analog links.
