Unknown with multiple channel to same MAC address
When I scan my nodes I am getting an unknown NO HOST NAME response with the following results:  scanning at 10Mhz, they don't show up on 20 mhz.
all from same scan secession
channel 182   -61  MAC: 02:2F:1A:D6:8D:AB
channel 172  -77  same mac
channel 162 -79   same mac

It doesn't make sense for one mac address and broadcasting on 3 different channels, down by 10.  Any ideas on how to track down the station in order to help them  get set up correctly?

Is there any way to query a mac?

another dude, mac 0A:BE:62:7A:B2:87 is also popping up on channel 175 (-83) without a host name.??

I have seen this before.
Always a difference of 10 channels.
Seems to be a ghost.

I hope this helps,
Chuck

Trouble is I don't know who the ham is, but he would have to be close in my neighborhood. No way to ping him to leave a message to a node owner. Thanks for the info, guess I'll be looking for GHOSTS, HI HI
