Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M5
I am preparing for a demo at our local Ham Club.
I have 2 Ubiquiti NanoStation Loco M5.
I set them up a year ago for a similar demo setup. They both functioned as expected. It's been a year now and I cannot find the password I used.
I tried the 5 second password reset, it didn't seem to work, neither did the 15 Fresh Boot.
After both of these, refresh the browser and still got the Status page and the default password didn't work (hsmm).
After the 15 seconds I should have not gotten the Status page and it should have changed to 10. network.
I decided to re-flash. I am using aredn-3.25.10.0-ath79-generic-ubnt_nanostation-loco-m-xw-squashfs-factory.bin.
The first one worked just fine but the second one didn't.
I do not see where to find the image name in the functioning Node but I'm pretty sure the above is the correct firmware.
It shows success from TFTP and the unit seems to boot into Aredn, LED 1,2,6 and 3 slowly blinks.
I cannot see 192.168.1.1 with the laptop set to 192.168.1.10 or with the laptop set to DHCP I do not get any IP from the node (like a 10.).
I looked with my phone on WiFi and see ARDENMESH network but get no IP Address and the connection fails.
I have re-loaded a very old Ubiquiti firmware and the the device acts normal. (XW.v6.0.3.30600.170329.1817.bin I think)
I really don't want to go spend a few hundred dollars just for this demo, and both units were functioning before.
They were actually functioning this month but I wanted admin access for the demo.

Any ideas.

No need to tell me to not use the Loco M5, it's what I have and they worked just find a year ago.
It's just a basic demo with the gear I have.

Reflash with Ubiquiti
Reflash with Ubiquiti firmware.
Then hold reset and power up.
After a bit the 3-5 4-6 pattern appears.
tftp  -i 192.168.1.20 PUT aredn-3.25.10.0-ath79-generic-ubnt-nanostation-loco-m-xw-squashfs.factory.bin
tftp shows sucess.
Node slow scan LEDs, fast scan then just Power and LAN and after a while LED 6 lights, followed by more time the LED3 blinks slowly.
Computer set to 192.168.1.10, no ping response from 192.168.1.1 (or 20).
Enable DHCP and get no IP from Node.
At this time if I look at WiFi Networks I see MeshNode but fail to connect, no IP address, connection failed.
