Ubiquiti M3 Suitability
Quick question. I hope there is a quick answer.

Ubiquiti sells two models of the Rocket M3.

The RocketM365, which I believe is the domestic version and the RM3 which is the international version.

My supplier will no longer provide the RM3 because of tariff issues.

The question I have is will the AREDN firmware load work on both of these devices? My gut says yes but...

Ubiquiti is made in Taiwan. Their tariff rate hasn't changed.
Chuck,
Where was your supplier getting his Ubiquiti RM3's? He should be able to get them directly from Taiwan where they are produced. Unlike the recent Chinese tariff situation, the Taiwanese policy and rate has been nominally the same for years.
If you're having issues with your supplier, can you use Streakwave in California or for cheaper prices you can do EuroDK?:

They have bulk deals from time to time if your supplier is giving you the run-around.

To be 100% clear.... the Rocket M365 and Rocket M3 are COMPLETELY different devices in different portions of the band.  AREDN ONLY supports the RM3 as noted in footnote #5 here: https://www.arednmesh.org/content/supported-platform-matrix

I hope this helps.
