Ubiquiti Bullet Model?
How do I determine which model of the Ubiquiti Bullet that I have so that I can select the correct firmware upgrade?  Purchased my Bullet thru Amazon in July of 2017.  Ubiquiti BulletM2-HP BM2HP + POE-24V 12W + AXA-NFNF + 5dbi Outdoor Omni Antenna  Nothing on the label indicates anything about what model it is other than this is a Bullet M2.  Current stable download versions of the Bullet appear to be the M2 Titanium, M2 XM and M2 XW.  Any assistance is much appreciated.  Tnx, Tom - K5LOL

If you log into to the Bullet (at 192.168.1.20, user ubnt, password ubnt), it will tell you what hardware version it is.

Thank you Orville.  I'll try
Thank you Orville.  I'll try that tomorrow....it's been a few years since I set up my two AREDN nodes so I'm going thru a "re-learning" curve!

Tom, you'll probably be able to get AREDN software installed, but I'm afraid you'll be a bit disappointed in its performance.  The Bullets were old technology years ago and recently landed on AREDN's "to be sunsetted" list.   They have slow CPU's, limited RAM & flash, and aren't MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) technology,   They'll work on the network, but it'll kind of be like water & oil, since most everything out on the network now is MIMO.

Bullet version

How do you tell the version of the Bullet, XM or XW (or any other Ubiquiti device) once AREDN has been loaded?  I too have old hardware I'd still like to use locally, with no intent to connect to other user's distant nodes, but would like to upgrade.  My problem is I have been away from AREDN so long, several years, all my equipment is outdated.  I should get newer gear, more memory, MIMO support, but that's going to require any outlay of cash I don't have right now.  I did pick up a used Ubiquiti Rocket M2, once received I need to figure out what antenna(s) to use on it, then get it flashed with the current version.  Like Tom I need to get into a re-education curve for AREDN.  Lots of new gear out there that supports it, maybe time to buy something other than Ubiquiti?  Thanks.

Check status page

On the status screen under model.  Top image is a Rocket-XM, but I assume the Bullet would be similar.
Bottom is a Rocket XW:

Note where it shows model.
