Tunnels and Home Network Security
Hey all!

Quick question re: home network security when connecting a node to a home network.

My understanding is that by connecting a node to a LAN port on a router/switch connected to your home network it is merely giving the node an internet connection.

My question is this, before connecting to a tunnel using the client, is there any security considerations to think of?  Is the same true for hosting a tunnel server on a home network?

Separate LAN
Personally I have my AREDN tunnel LAN ports on a separate LAN in my network.  That LAN ONLY has access to the internet and the two hAP nodes.  But I am NOT running normal home LAN routers and switches.  What is easy for me is not for most "normal" home LAN users.
