Hi Mr. GELM,
As you can see in the last post under the Türkiye section of this forum, after a long testing period, we have now established our first permanent AREDN tunnel. We will soon be putting our backup regional servers and alternative network systems into operation.
At the same time, we are working to complete the setup of the devices that many individuals in our community have purchased to join the network.
And we continue to locate the people left behind in the closed tunnel and communicate with them about joining the new tunnel.
At this point, we felt it necessary to appear on the map so that people outside our community could discover the existence of this network in Turkey and join us. In this context, our research revealed that we needed to apply for a tunnel through this channel.
In this context, I would like to ask for your help on this matter.
We will request this tunnel connection for the node with the SSID of "TA2DMX-TUNEL". Also, he will write it here shortly after me.
I wrote this mentioning you because, while reading this section of the forum, I generally saw that you were the one concerned with the issue.
I hope this is acceptable.
Best Regards,
Kayra Gündoğar ÇETİN, TA2SLC

You may ask us why we are not connecting our approximately 30 nodes to the 7 nodes currently visible in Turkey and why we are not asking them for help in this matter.
Unfortunately, we are not the party to address this question; they themselves will provide a more appropriate explanation.

Hello,
Currently we are a group of about 20–25 people in Turkey actively working on the AREDN network. As amateur radio operators, we are happy to contribute collectively to the growth of the AREDN network worldwide.
In this context, we would like to request a tunnel connection from you.
We kindly request a tunnel allocation for the node named TA2DMX-TUNEL.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the connection. I have added the tunnel, and the nodes should start synchronizing gradually.
Thanks again.

As I mentioned earlier, we will be activating our backup servers very soon and will continue with installations in Turkey.
We would also like to add those from our neighboring countries who wish to connect to our tunnel, thus adding them to the global network.
We believe this is the foundation of the system, and we saw it that way in the forum as well. In this context, you can always direct any requests you deem appropriate to be forwarded to us.
Right now, we don't see any other nodes around us besides those in Bulgaria. We are already in contact with them.
In this context, we can include all our neighbors interested in the project, such as Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, or even more distant stations like Italy, Romania, and Macedonia etc.
Hopefully, we can really help and support the development of this project together with our neighbors.
Not seeing them on the map really made us feel alone.
Greetings from Turkey,
Kayra Gündoğar ÇETİN, TA2SLC
