Hello all,
I have a airRouter hp that im trying to connect to a buddies airRouter via a tunnel. He has given me his server name, my passwd, and his ip address. The connection worked for a few days but then died after about a week. The connection has been down for about 3 months and im no trying to get it back up. I've tried everything I can think of on my end (reset the airRouter with the firstboot command, connecting from another network) and im still not able to get it going. Is there something im missing? Does it need to be in the DMZ?

step 1: Try to use telnet to his IP address on port 5525. if you get a response that says something about vTun, then, his firewall on his home router is functioning.
