TP-LINK CPE710
Are there plans to support the tp-link cpe710?  Apparently the tp-link cpe610 has been discontinued.   From what I've read the cpe710 will support a power setting of 27dbm.  The cpe610 only allowed 25dbm.

Thank you,

It's not yet supported by OpenWrt.  Until it is, there's no hope of AREDN developing support for it.

CPE710 available in *OpenWRT* development
This change was merged into OpenWRT master about a week ago, adding support for CPE710. I do see that the current AREDN releases follow OpenWRT 19.07.8, so first, somebody would have to backport this to that version, and then someone would have to determine whether any further changes would be needed for AREDN.

I haven't looked into how difficult this would be personally, though, and I don't have a CPE710 to experiment with.

A PR was submitted to Openwrt (on April 14) by our very own Andrew KK4ZUZ.   He's the TL-Link guru.

As the person who created the PR for Openwrt I found that it will only work with Openwrt 21.02 or newer as the required drivers are missing on earlier versions.
I have tested it on AREDN on my own Branch based on OpenWrt 21.02 and it works but as this is an AC Based device it has the same issues that the other AC Based Devices Have. Once the AC Drivers have been Modified to Support 5Mhz and 10Mhz and AREDN updated to Openwrt 21.02 it should  be supported.

I will openly admit that I don't really understand OpenWrt.  I'm still very weak in that area of things, but I'm learning.  I appreciate all the comments.  From what If I understand this correctly, there has been some thought about a firmware update for the CPE710, but it needs drivers to support the 5, and 10mhz bandwidth settings from within the firmware?  Guess I'll have to read up on OpenWrt.  Here we go....down another rabbit hole.  Hi Hi!

You don't need to do that...
The drivers are being modified by the AREDN developers.  If you'll wait a few weeks it'll be part of the AREDN software download

Thank you Andre! Do you know if it will support 27dbm on transmit?

Power output
I have no reason to believe the RF output won't be as specified by the manufacturer.
