Station filtering

Is there away to control which nodes can associate to another (on the command line or otherwise)? By using MAC address or station name? We are trying to limit the number of stations associated to any particular node. Especially those with a marginal signal. We've tried limiting power and changing antennas, which did help. But it would be nice to only allow say the best 3 connections and drop the rest on certain nodes.
