Restore Air Router to Factory

Hello,

I'm looking for instructions for restoring Ubiquiti Air Router to factory firmware. I've searched the web site and can't find any documentation. The only thing I've found are the firmware files and I don't know which I should use.

I have one Air Router and one Air Router HP.

Thanks.

Use TFTP - I think
As I recall, you use the same TFTP procedure that you used to flash the devices to AREDN - except obviously you are loading UBNT firmware instead of AREDN firmware.  Never restored a UBNT device back to original, so only going by what I recall reading here.

Correct. I was looking for
Correct. I was looking for specifics because its been so long that I flashed in the first place. I did get a helpful answer.

I'm restoring all my devices as I'm no longer doing mesh. Not enough serious people here in Tucson, not to mention the FCC is trying to kill us, to make it work my time and effort.

Same factory version?
Really?  Why?  Is the original factory version number saved in ROM (or somethiing like that) that requires the same version?

KD1HA is not correct in

KD1HA is not correct in stating "you must restore it with the same factory firmware that is was converted from". I just restored my Air Router back to AirOS with the latest version - v6.3.6 (XM). One down one more to go.

That was KD1HA that said it

That was KD1HA that said it had to be the same UBNT version as it had originally been - not me.  That statement did not make sense to me...

Opps, sorry. Anyway, you get the idea. I'm good to go. Both of my AirRouters are back to factory firmware. I edited my reply.

From my experience and the

From my experience and the manufacture instructions for recovery to the original Os my advice was correct. If you had another experience then that is yours. You asked for help and that is what I did as most of us here do.
