Hello,
Does anyone know if the add on mini pcie card is supported with AREDN firmware?
If it is can you do simultaneous 2.3Ghz and 5.8Ghz, or is it just one at a time.

The AREDN firmware is based on OpenWrt with additional packages and patches.
A Makefile automates the entire process to create firmware images.

My impressions:

I hope this helps,

currently, the firmware only supports one mesh interface, but, we are working on supporting 2.
That would be good.
Hopefully more hardware (the newer ubiquit radios etc) will gain support at some point.
Thanks...
A second mesh interface, for some devices, would be fantastic. Another feature that might be valuable, especially for testing, but also for reducing data usage on metered connections, would be allowing users to set the link cost value in the settings or advanced settings section. Do you see any value in a feature like that?
