Hi,
Is there a reason why none of the German or Dutch nodes appear on the AREDN world-map?
My node in the Netherlands is online, GPS position entered and connected to the internet.

The supernode for the mesh you are connected to needs to be connected to the wider supernode network for you to appear on the world map.
Also the world-map is generated twice a day (I think) so you need to be online and connected when the updates are done.
At least by my layman understanding.

I feel I'm the only one in the country playing with AREDN, however I've been hearing for several years that the German emcomm (Notfunk) has been using AREDN. So a bit surprised no node on the map there. The Swiss are much more visible, strange. I'm still on a very steep learning curve, so it all might come together in the coming days ;-)
Notfunk is using AREDN in go-kits and for ad-hoc networks that are not connected out to the wider network, so they setup for incidents and exercises but then break down the network(s) again
That is based on discussion with them at Friedrichshafen last year
Strange that the Swiss have more than 1 supernode.
If you would like to link with the Swiss, you might contact
HB9: BLA, FTS, TVP, HZW,CF.

+1 with Mark EI4FNB.
To be displayed on the AREDN World map, your node needs to be linked
with one of the nodes on the map.
Perhaps you could ask for a tunnel with any of
LB1PJ, LA9KY, SK3GA, SM3ULU, SA3BPE nearest to you.
