MikroTik RBSXTsqG-5acD locked frequencies?

     I am looking at deploying a couple of MikroTik RBSXTsqG-5acD for a PtP link, but on the MikroTik web site it states;

"SXTsq 5 ac-US (USA) is factory locked for 5170-5250MHz and 5725-5835MHz frequencies. This lock can not be removed."

Does this lock issue in any way affect the use of this device with AREDN loads and frequency (channel) flexibility, or any other AREDN normal use?  Are these descent options for a low-cost PtP (short distance) deployment, or is there something lower cost but powerful enough and reliable.  One or both endpoints may be inside buildings, but the span distance is not long, only a few hundred feet separating the endpoints (the distance unfortunately cannot be spanned with Ethernet  cable, must be a wireless link).

My recollection of this topic
My recollection of this topic is that once the AREDN firmware is applied, it no longer matters if you have the US or international versions.  If that precise model is in the firmware list as supported, it will function on all the AREDN useable frequencies once flashed.
